Kulturkampf

I will be writing more about this. The situation is fluid and my head is bursting with rage and frustration. I’ve never been so visceraly angry. In the meantime here’s the latest on the statue campaign.

The media are, of course, simply repeating the Marxist arrestion that Baden Powell had “Nazi Associations”. He was anti communist and very naive about the Nazis, as many were, just as even more were naive about the Soviet Union. In 1937 he went to Germany in his capacity as Chief Scout for talks about the Hitler Youth. He was Chief Scout and scouting had been banned in Germany in 1935 and replaced with the HY. If he’d had talks with the Young Pioneers would that make him a commie? This is not exactly “having associations”. The simple fact that he was on the Nazi Black Book of people to be rounded up and arrested  if they got their jackboots on British soil should be enough to clear him of  alleged “Nazi sympathies” or being a “Nazi supporter”.

As you can see we’re not taking this kulturkampf lying down. I will be up in Westminster on Saturday as part of a group gathering to protect statues and war memorials from the latest BLM “peaceful demo”. Hopefully before then I’ll post something a bit longer and more informative about the Tofu Taliban’s attempt to give Britain a Year Zero makover.

In the meantime, here’s what they did to the statue of Abraham Lincoln, opposite the Houses of Parliament. Yes…Lincoln. The mind boggles.
