“Let it GO” is I would contend not a good idea. Doing NOTHING only emboldens the BizzaroWorld of INSANITY and ANTI-Americanism. Letting the INSANE run the asylum will hurt the non-“true believers through the Fascism, destruction and even Murder of INNOCENTS.
The “true believer” is not concerned about the Present other than to use it as a stepping to the “Ideal” that will unfold in the Future. The Future is the unfolding of the “Ideal.” The Problem is that the “Ideal NEVER materializes. Absolute Power and Control is far too Powerful an aphrodisiac. History has repeatedly shown this FACT of total FAILURE to happen 100% of the time when the manufacture of THE myopic, delusional, corrupt and very destructive Utopia is attempted. BOTH George Orwell in 1984 and Aldous Huxley Brave New World demonstrated in their powerful novels THE Reality of Utopianism whic h becomes DYSTOPIA.
Letting the Left/Progressive/Modern Liberal/Democratic Socialist (OXYMORON) and FakeNEWS have carte blanche ONLY empowers the Collectivist mindset which will manufactures an Alternative Reality that acts just like an echo chamber reinforcing on a 24/7 Loop THE IDEOLOGY and the “fundamental transformation of America.”. Do not forget Joseph Goebbels infamous quote, “If you repeat a lie often enough, people will believe it, and you will even come to believe it yourself”
Follow that up with a dire warning from Martin Niemöller:

The talent of the Party of the INSANITY, the “true believers” and the far too many fellow travelers is to DENY and at the same time point the finger the “others” and BLAME them.

To paraphrase H.L. Mencken: Democracy is the theory that the common people know what they want, and deserve to get it good and hard.
Socialism is the theory that the people deserve to get it good and hard, whether they want it or not.

The only problem with letting the people have socialism is that it deludes them into giving up the power of their vote. Once socialism becomes the norm, ballot fraud will follow and the buck will no longer stop at the ballot box. A popular quote falsely attributed to Josef Stalin was, “It’s not the people who vote that count, it’s the people who count the votes.” But I’m sure he’d approve. That’s why the people of Venezuela are powerless to get rid of it. Woodrow Wilson’s dream would give us “Philip Dru: Administrator”, who was a “benevolent dictator”. 

I’m aware that Seattle is not my city, Washington is not my State and the USA is not my country. Not my circus, not my monkeys. Nevertheless, as and Englishman who loves America I say buy stocks in guns and amo, stock up on popcorn and watch the unreality TV show of CHAZ burn from a safe distance.
How would I feel if this was happening in Birmingham, Manchester or London? Exactly the same, except the option of buying guns and amo would be denied me.

I live two hours from Seattle, and can confirm that you would feel the same if you lived in Washington.

If or when the people in Seattle ever want to take back their city. My wife said, It will be easy. Put a barrier all around the zone. Razor wire will do nicely. Turn off to power and water unless they can pay international rates for these utilities. Set up border check points that state “You are entering the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. Please have your passports and papers ready.” They need to pay for what they have taken. All business owners should file lawsuits in the International Court to obtain proper compensation for their lost property. Let them really figure out how to run a country.

Y’all have totally blown this one. Let’s start out with how many peeps in the CHAZ voted. Maybe 20%? Even giving the Dims all the votes means 80% of the people living there did NOT vote for this crap. So, we’re (the US) is gonna OK Seattle violating their right to live in the US, under US laws etc? And I guarantee those living in CHAZ are having most or all their rights violated daily. The only reason we’re not hearing about the horror & tragedy of those being victimized is our traitorous propaganda corp, formerly known as the press. It would be just and fair to let them burn IF it were only those responsible burning. Your “Let ’em burn” policy would condemn 100’s or maybe 1000’s of innocent Americans to a living hell. Send in the g-d Marines NOW and save those who don’t deserve this. End this travesty now. I am kinda surprised Mr. Ott didn’t take this side from the beginning.

In Seattle, I agree that you just need to let this play out. This is armed insurrection supported by the city and state government. Can you imagine if Hells Angels rode in and took over part of you city and the government did nothing? No different other than Antifa has the Democrats as their Marketing division. If the people don’t like the leadership, they will hopefully take their city back at election time. That said, ask Scott mentioned there may not be elections in Seattle. Couple questions come to mind. 1. Wonder what it would take to get a Rodney King type beat down or shot to death from one of those Antifa Thugs. Spit in their face, throw something at them, jump their wall, run through the gate? Would the city do anything about it? 2. What is the economy of the armed gang. Extortion, thievery, drugs, government (taxpayer) subsidy, donations? I don’t hear of any manufactured goods or services coming out of Chaz yet.
I bet there are a few business owners who after years of dealing with the thuggery of the city of Seattle government have now lost everything because it has been confiscated by Antifa. I would not be a bit surprised to see at least a few (after they have their families safe) come back and cause some real chaos. Would not take a lot, just make those thugs get a little more edgy protecting the turf they have stolen. What are they going to do? Call the police to investigate who shot a random bullet or launched a object from a wrist rocket into a group of their guards from someplace? There are numerous ways a small group could add a lot of stress to the lives of these thugs and, in my opinion be totally justified in doing so.
It is absolutely disgusting that it has come to this in America but now the enemy is trying to protect the territory the have ceased with help from the corrupt puppet government. Be interesting to see if there is any fight left in Americans or if we just let them take over, obediently go back to our jobs and pay them to rule.
I think there are a few of us members who are within a hundred miles of Minneapolis and in my opinion the corrupt government of Minneapolis and Minnesota is not far behind this circus in Seattle. Minneapolis has had 10/15 murders and shootings maybe a few more since the riots and there have been a number of cops that have just resigned and walked away. Just the other day a group from AIM tore down a Columbus statue at the State Capital unopposed by authorities. It is only a matter of time before buildings and blocks are taken over.

The problem in Seattle (and other places) is not Socialism/Communism/Progressivism. It is thuggery.
Thuggery is interested in total power and domination only. Economic theory is made to fit. Racial theory is made to fit. Societal organization is made to fit.
Left/right/anarchist is irrelevant.
We make a big mistake labeling this Socialism. It is power hungry thuggery; plain and simple. And it is way easier to explain and argue against than some arcane economic theory.
 
 

Correction: Socialism/Communism/Progressivism in implementation IS total power and domination set free. Thugs are free to do their worst because what is good for the collective is determined by the most vicious, rapacious, and unprincipled members of the collective. They become the voice and decision makers. All who disagree are purged.
 
What is left is poverty, despair, destruction, and death. This is because the men of mind are the first to be liquidated. The clever and handy with tools go next. Those who are left are willing slaves but, without mind, they can produce nothing but the mass digging of graves for themselves and others.
 
Like it or not, reality is real. Your definitions and changing of words fail to impact reality. Your pretty theories are meaningless if they cannot be practiced. Look at bloody history for what happens to them. Fail to look and fail to learn means you are doomed to fail even by your own perverted standards. That failure will be your fault because only you can be responsible for yourself. As all others are ultimately responsible for themselves. Human sacrifice produces nothing.

Not sure what is going on, Scott but when I try to make this video full screen the whole screen is black except for the top left corner that has your video the same size. This is the first time I have had that happen. Will try it on the next R/A. Anyone else having this issue?

Yep. Let it burn. Yes, I think they’re surprised. Their parents sheltered them from what it takes to live life and make things work. In their minds, the ideals, minus the responsibility and conflict resolution they HAVEN’T been taught … are the only truth. There’s no overarching philosophy for how things work, only a massive collection of New Speak “values” that are ultimately hollow. They have been disconnected from the moral roots that brought them about.
 

Bill – the current warlord needs to listen to your Cold War series and find out what happens when others decide they want power. There is always a guy with a bigger gun and more ruthless.

You just know that they really changed the name from CHAZ to CHOP because somebody during one of their group meetings said “Are we really going to name ourselves after some really white, preppy dude that wears two IZOD polos at the same time? Seriously we can’t come up with something better?”

It’s already failed. They’ve changed the name to CHOP as they conceded that they couldn’t exist without services and support from the ‘outside’. I agree with RBlodgett – bring in the bikers.

The only way to address a civil takeover like CHAZ/CHOP is another civil takeover by patriots. No army, politicians or weak police should be engaged. One pass with a biker rally or a militia group would end their story with no one to blame.

Letting Leftists live under Socialism also sound good in theory, but it’s based on the assumption that Leftists are capable of learning when facts contradict their beliefs. I remember years ago goinhg a few rounds on Facebook with two Lefties about Detroit. They had many theories as to why the city had gone to s***, and what was notably missing from their arguments were any acknowledgement of the results of Leftist policies.
As Chris Berman might say, you can’t stop Leftism; you can only hope to contain it.

Socialism, of any form, cannot stand without the productivity of a free economy providing its food, goods, and services. I agree that it is justice applied to require the socialist thugs to live in the hell they wish to force the rest of us to inhabit.
 
I suggest this will not be enough to change their minds (assuming they have functional minds). When, not if, their “experiment” fails they will say that it was not “real” socialism. Why? Capitalism refused to provide adequate food, goods, and services for free that they require to continue to exist. In other words, they are not responsible for providing for themselves, it is everyone else’s responsibility. They will remain convinced that their “system” would have worked if others had met their duty to provide.
 
I say provide a total embargo on ALL goods, services, and utilities being provided for that area. Do not allow anyone or anything to enter. Force them to live their theory. Do this for three months. Then ask them if they have had enough. If not, three more months. Repeat until they give up or are all dead.
