Liberty Much? New Law Uses Local Cops to Build FBI DNA Database

President Donald Trump signed a law that uses local cops to build a national database of DNA, and you might be in it. You don’t have to commit a crime to wind up in it. Liberty much?

I read a story last week that they caught a guy through DNA testing, not by having his DNA, but because a close relative had done one of those find my ancestry tests (like Warren did to prove she wasn’t an Indian).
The authorities compared their unknown evidence sample with the voluntary data base of the company and got a hit for close relative.
Then they caught the bad guy.
This opens to much of a Pandora’s box for me to like even a little bit of it.
We are not far from everyone having their DNA on file.

This will work every bit as well as the Patriot Act did.
So much for that dumb privacy stuff.
A gizmo will probably be invented that will take skin cells when they take your fingerprints, so they will have your DNA too.
Sort of a one stop shop for destroying your Constitutional protections.
