Bill, you said exactly what I’ve been thinking about the election process. You of course put it together better than I can. Regretfully I feel my efforts to participate in our election process is a waste of time. Love your shows. I’m sure I’ll be a member for life.

In Michigan we run the ballots into a scanning machine as we cast them, there’s no good reason we can’t have immediate results, at least tentative ones. Absentee and mail-in can be done at any point as far as I know. The scan takes seconds.

There has been shrewdly planned demise of authority control through riots, release of criminals, destructive governors, and political control families before the election. Backing up will be painfully slow. Our complacency was the start of allowing aggressive evil taking control.

In the past, ‘we’ have seen it, we have even called it out, with our small voices. But now, the voice of corruption is so loud and obvious it is hard to ignore (head in sand).
In the recent past, Pres Trump has called it out, over and over again, even as it’s used against him (to silence him, and get rid of him). Pres Trump is a fighter, he’s not going down for the count. He fights for us, the people, and we need to support him in this fight…

I have been out of town for two weeks without internet connection, so I am now trying to play catch up. Thank you, Ron, for mentioning the last 40 seconds. I was listening up to min 19 and decided to skip ahead to listen. Great comment by Bill (and Steve) on Scott’s role in BWBC. A role that shows real dedication and could easily become under appreciated. Kudo’s to all!

Mr. Ott, national news stories have a trajectory, and deflecting even a small part of it can have a major influence on it. You did not in fact see ANYTHING on Facebook, twatter, cnn or anywhere else in the MSM for a period of time immediately after the story broke. Now is a different story. This had a H U G E effect on it, as Bill pointed out. You see that, don’t you? If it had been allowed to be considered a legitimate story, it would not be the “meh” it is now.

It’s been “updated.” (I’m not seeing what you saw.) Did you capture a screenshot?

I wish someone on the right who have the resource would buy up either CNN or MSNBC, or maybe both and turn them back to be real news networks (give the so call “journalists” a day to shape up or get fired). I agree that the media complex have stolen the election. If Jeff B can buy up WP, surely someone on the right would have enough resource to do the same? It seems to me that we need to fight fire with fire and the best way is to turn off the source of fake and miss information, and have it start to report on real news. Maybe Trump should consider buying up one of these news networks if God forbid he loses this elections. At least that would be a good start to clean up the media industrial complex that got us here.

Rush LImbaugh today spoke at length about the number of Republicans who WANT the swamp to STAY as swampy as it is. Does that explain, in part, why we don’t see those with the means to do so doing what you suggest?

I take slight issue with Scott’s point on the Biden sleeze thing. Scott plays a “liberl” as a foil to Bill, he looks at all aspects of politics. I’d guess the algorythms that feed Scott feed him a good deal of politics at a reasonab[y deep level. You wouldn’t believe the number of sound, right wing folk this side of the Pond that hadn’t heard of the Hunter Biden thing until I told them…

I watched the returns on The Blaze, and they were getting increasingly frustrated with FoxNews. Not to condone Roger Ailes’ behavior, but that station definitely lurched leftward since his ouster. That they are choosing to go in that direction after the wild success they have enjoyed is mystifying. From a business standpoint alone, it just makes no sense.

I think it may be because the old man is not there now and the two sons have taken over. Both of them are married to far Left gals so are probably p—–y whipped.

In the Texas county I lived in before Harvey (which voted over 85% for Trump), we had a choice of voting with the scan-tron-like scanner (filled in with an ink pen), or “electronic”–that is, computer voting. I ALWAYS used the paper scan-tron one. In Harris County, the “electronic” machines are the only option. I HATE them. They are hard to use and I will never be convinced that they can’t be hacked. I will never be fully confident my vote is counted as long as I have to use anything but a paper ballot. I’m even a little skeptical of the scan-tron thing, because it’s technically a computer too and could be buggered–but then you have the paper ballot as backup.

My county (well township as far as I know) here in Wisconsin started using a hybrid at the beginning of the year. You get a blank-ish ballot (with the clerk’s signature) and feed it into the machine, make your choices via the touch screen, and it prints your choices both as a bar code on the top and then each office by name.

I feel secure with a method like that because it can scan in the counting machine that takes both the “regular” and these ballots, but also that there is a paper trail that can be verified later by hand (which I expect they do) to make sure that both the machine counted correctly, and to officially certify the election. Having just the selected names, and not all for that office, printed on the ballot means less chance of reading and recording the wrong one when doing the certification tallies.

The purely electronic ones though I wouldn’t trust.

That seems a reasonable variation. The machines we use have been around for several years, so they’re old technology by now. They are not touch screen, which I count as a plus (touch screens can be very buggy); instead, you use a dial to move the cursor around and then a separate big button to select. (Of course, I always forget and try to use the screen as a touch screen at first.) They give you a list at the end of all the people you voted for to review and confirm, but the list does NOT include the party affiliations. I think that is wrong. And at the very end, it just says, Thank you, your vote has been counted. You don’t get a printout. There is no physical paper trail. Oh, and there is NO CURTAIN for privacy. Nor is there a privacy screen on the screen itself.

Bill its not just the polls in two US elections 2016 & 2020, its every election in the western world since 2015. When one poll is wrong faith in it fails but when all polls are wrong people start looking for clues to the cause of the error. A lot are watching polls not because they believe them but because they all think they have a conversion factor. In the USA that was a 4 points shift left so add 4 to the Republican and take 4 from the democrats. In some areas it appears to be 6. 
Several pollsters have got it right. Rasmussen, Trafalgar, two of the betting sites. 
The left likes the polls because their worldview is magical thinking or wish fulfilment, in that context there is no reality therefore the polls can’t be wrong. When Republicans win against the polls then the left thinks the RNC cheated somehow. Thus they don’t reject polls either.  
There is also no indication that push polls or demoralization polls actually work on conservatives. I bet that’s got a lot on the left confused. 

I always figured that the voter suppression could totally backfire. Why should I waste my time. My candidate is gonna win in a landslide anyway.

Of course, I may just be lazy.

Stirewalt isn’t exactly new at Fox. I remember him explaining why they called the 2012 election for Obama when they did. He was supposed to be the numbers guy. They took the camera down the hall to the room where the number crunchers were working–a dismal office conference room, not a studio–to interview him.

I suspect that would trigger a global civil war. The best way to prevent a civil war is to ignore the provocations. Trump et al probably wants to deal with the devil they know and not some new replacement that will take a few years to work out. 

Why isn’t Soros in prison for promoting terrorism in this country? Who got the 34 billion and what did they do with it? In my humble opinion, we should bring back the firing squad for those who commit treason to their country. And put it on pay-per- view. We could pay off the national debt.

You do know its not his money? He’s just the money launderer. Its DOD, DOJ, CIA & State money from the USA and money from a dozen other countries hidden government programs. The deep state has been milking the global tax payer for decades.

This whole situation makes me physically sick. How did our country become so corrupt that you can’t even trust in the election process or get the truth from the news media? This is making my depression even worse.Will the truth eventually come out? Would someone in DC please have the balls to expose these cowards for who they really are?

What is even more troubling, approximately half the votes were for PROVEN TOTALLY CORRUPT POLITICIANS. It seems that it is OK to be corrupt if you can get in on the corruption. All you have to do is get away with it. Gack!

I think the only reason Trump got elected the first time is that he and the voters took the deep state completely by surprise (they thought he was a clown), so they didn’t do enough fraud to win. This time they were prepared. They know the American people overwhelmingly support Trump. I think Obama 2012 was fraudulent as well. Actually, I think this is nothing new

Remember both the RNC & the DNC saw Ted Cruz as the major threat and saw Trump as a blocker for him. The idea that they might cooperate immediately to beat Hillary was inconceivable. Once in office Trump worked out that Cruz was right on several things: wall design, heath care reform. And Cruz quickly worked out that Trumps trade policy was working and how bad the Bush/ Obama naked trade negotiations were. Tariffs are what you use as poker chips in trade negotiation. You give them up to get free trade but if you have none at the start you instantly loose.

Scott, you can’t be that ignorant. They are criminally stuffing the ballot box. Of that I don’t have the slightest doubt. No trial is necessary! Guilty as charged.

True but is Trump, Fox, etc giving the left a lot of rope today so they all hang tomorrow. How many hidden cameras has Home Land Security slipped into those buildings? How many other covert tools are in play? Blocking fraud saves on election. Catching fraud lands the perpetrators in jail for 10 years and there is a good chance they have not trained an understudy. That means you save 5 elections.

much as I wish that scenario is possible….
more importantly is how WE on the non-left, really anyone fair & decent, responds to this- and that means all the meta issues causing this downward spiral- no matter how the election turns out. In the long run, that is all that matters.
If we refuse to accept all this and in fact become a cohesive, organized & inspired entity we will not be defeated regardless of how the landscape changes.

That speaks to Scott’s point: If one assumes that the reason is X, then one may miss that Y and Z are even more important factors.

Thank you for posting this. It was painful to watch. It is excruciating when ‘evil schemes’ prosper and yes, not everything was a deliberate act of fraud but the random irregularities of our system never looked like this before. I do admit I lean more heavily toward Bill and Steve’s views on this one, yet having Scott as the counter balance is critical perspective. I appreciate what you said to each other at the end most of all. Well done to all of you.

Either the Democrats are really stupid or think we the people are really stupid. They have known, for years in advance, that the election was going to be held Nov 3, 2020. Yet they “find” millions of uncounted votes on the 4th. Could they not have had them ready to count on the 3rd. Yes. Hence they waited to know how many votes they had to create to win. I call that felonious cheating and every last Democrat connected with the scam should be put it jail for a very long time.
Yet nothing will happen to them. It is one law for them and another law for the rest of us. The America as it was founded no longer exists. IT is dead and the Democrats killed it.
We are living in worse than a third world banana republic because we should know better. This is not what I signed up for. I object! I owe my allegiance to the America that was and not to the America as it is.

I think so. Especially if you only watch CNN and hear those people tell you “the polls show a 15 point lead for team blue” every day for 6-8 months.

If your on the left then you don’t think the polls are wrong you just think the Republicans are better at cheating than you are.

Why are people still watching Fox News (with the exception of Tucker Carlson)??? Newsmax called Florida for Trump early in the evening, and called Texas as well as soon as it was possible.
I’m both disheartened and disgusted by this “election”. IMO the DNC can now be considered a communist/domestic terrorist organization and we are in the early stages of being a banana republic.

You don’t have much trouble finding stuff like this online, no. Websites keep cookies and they know the stories you read and the stories you seek and they show you more of those.
However, many, MANY people go to Cable/Network news for their “official” version of the news, and what is shown or NOT shown there is where THOSE people get their “information”.

I have referenced it before but Netflix’s “The Social Dilemma” explains in detail how we are led around by the nose to find other sources that back up our private beliefs and pre-conceived notions.
