Pleased to introduce you to Mr Bostock. He can be a bit hit and miss, but that’s creativity. He certainly does articulate the growing anger over here.
I spent three months in London in 1983 on a defence project aimed at stopping the Soviets from pouring through the Fulda Gap in Germany (we were successful). I loved the place. I am very sorry at what has happened to it, and at the stupidity of the people who are letting Islam conquer them.
Davey, I hate to admit this, but I’m driving myself crazy trying to remember the song (which should be intensely obvious!!) that that parody was based on. Can you help me out a bit? Damn senior moments…
Got it: “Cars”, Gary Numan, August 1979. Comparing this to the original video (which I’d never seen, didn’t do MTV) makes it much more hilarious.
