It may be the capital city of my country, but I find my feelings about London growing colder day by day. I’ve even started to refer to it as Mordor.
Policing is a big part of that. I was raised to have a deep respect for the police and I’ve known and worked with a good few London police officers over the years and the Metropolitan Police that they worked for and that I knew growing up bares little resemblance to the Met I see today. London is not alone of course, but London leads the way.
Here are two instances of young female Moslem police officers displaying shocking and totally unacceptable behaviour that would see officers holding a weaker hand in Politically Correct Poker sacked in short order. We will see what happens to these officers, I’m not holding my breath.
Both cases are being “looked into”, but they have not met with the swift and ruthless treatment meted out to officers who have shown bias in a different direction. Given that female Moslem officers make up 1% (if that) of the force, to have two such egregious cases from such a small demographic looks like a worrying pattern.

Just one more reason to avoid big cities. The melting pot is no longer the melting pot, but more and more a conglomeration of disparate tribes at odds with each other and western culture.
