I agree with nearly every word you spoke here, Bill, except one. That one word is “liberal.”

They are NOT liberals. They are leftists. (Or communists, or fascists, or globalists, or totalitarians, or authoritarians, or whatever.)

Most people think “liberal” is a good word with positive connotations, and synonym for “generous:” “He gives liberally.”

When you use the word “liberal,” you are ceding half the argument before you start.

This was a very difficult concept for me to understand, because I grew up in a house where “liberal” was a terrible epithet.

But most people are apolitical and the word “liberal” means “nice” to them. So describing leftists as “liberal” signals to them that you don’t like nice people. Therefore you’re probably not very nice yourself. So why would they listen to you?

Remember when you once said that your biggest job when you gave a speech on a college campus was simply demonstrating that you were a nice, normal person?

Even “progressive” is too nice a word for leftists. “Progress” has positive connotations to most people.

H.L. has a way of narrowing it down:

“Act less white?” Would that be wearing a do rag? Speaking in ghetto-ese, and in “We be…,” I be…,” referring to people as “muffers” and things as “muffin dis”, or “da muffin ..”? Wearing my shirt tucked into my skivvies and pants handing so low you can see the smoke rings in my skivvies?
Or would that be “acting black”? Which, BTW, in the words of aol, “may be offensive to some people.”

It would be bad enough if employees were only forced to listen to the dishonest indoctrination, but the fact that these programs FORCE them to affirm their belief in its lies is demonic. To admit one’s inherent racism is to deny one’s belief in Galatians 3:26-28: “26 So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith, 27 for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. 28 There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.” I pray to the very depth of my soul that the poor believers subjected to this anti-Christian evil fully understand the eternal consequences of their responses: “You reward everyone according to what they have done.” As they weather this trial, Please God, wrap them in your strength. Psalm 62: Truly my soul finds rest in God; my salvation comes from him. 2 Truly he is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will never be shaken. 3 How long will you assault me? Would all of you throw me down—this leaning wall, this tottering fence? 4 Surely they intend to topple me from my lofty place; they take delight in lies. Tears poured from my eyes as I watched this episode. I am a son – 1 of 5 – of Anda Rosen, the lady who wrote Middle Andzia – a first-person account of precisely this phenomenon. So immediately after watching I called her. It was early this morning and I actually woke her up. I described the episode and asked her if your “Loving the Armband” assertion was correct. What she told me next made my hair stand on end. 
Unlike The Destruction of the European Jews, my mom’s book is short and simple. It powerfully contrasts acts of true heroism from exactly this mindset you describe. Like how the Jewish head of the Sambor ghetto – her city’s ghetto – cooperated with the Nazis, identifying a quota of hundreds of Jews for abduction in order to save his family and himself. (She also told me – from a child’s eyes – of how he and his family were literally chauffeured by the SS to execution immediately after his usefulness ended.)
But the scariest thing my mom said was about George Soros. Although she didn’t know him personally, many of her peers did. She told me of his virtue-signaling youth and how he longed to identify with the Aryans. She told me of how many like him shamelessly cooperated with the Germans out of existential fear. She told me of how they expected other Jews to appreciate that they were only trying to survive. She told me of how she can easily recognize this in Mr. Gates, Mr. Zukerberg, and Mr. Bezos.
As the conversation with my mom continued, she broke down in tears – something that was very very rare for her to do..) As she did, she recounted several situations where she – as a child – didn’t have the courage needed to stand up to such overwhelming power. And she told me, as only she could, just how incredibly rare true heroes are. 
The conversation with my mom ended with her recounting times as a child where she didn’t have the courage to protect those around her in those hardest of moments. As I heard my mom weep in guilt repeating “I didn’t have the courage..”, I wept too, wondering, praying, that I can summon the courage now..
So as great as this particular MB2A episode is, it leaves out the critical piece – one that I trust you’ll address in subsequent ones. That is – now that we understand the problem better, exactly what we should do about it.
The great gift of my mom’s book are the stories in it of my grandfather and his incredible courage in the face of true evil. As I picture them, I can’t help now but also remember the Breitbart quote “Politics is downstream from culture”. 
Now more than ever our beloved America needs such heroes. We need to recount the myths and cherish legends that built it. And similarly, we must expose the evil – that lack of goodness – with the greatest humility.

What is the title of your mother’s book? Is it still in print? Thanks for sharing your conversation.

The book is titled “Middle Andzia”.

My mom is my greatest teacher and hero. It was she who taught me how to be careful of what I identify with & that I am so much more that just my values, Etc.

She watches today’s dramas with incredible frustration. And you sure won’t see her in any damn mask..

Just received the annual report of Royal Dutch Shell. In it, among other Woke items, was this “energy transition strategy” summary:

“How are we transforming our business? Read about Shell’s energy transition strategy as we work to become a net-zero emissions energy business by 2050, in step with society’s progress towards the goal of the UN Paris Agreement on climate change.”

Is it Stockholm Syndrome, anticipatory compliance?

Maybe it’s something else, something corporations have done for a long time: Jumping out in front of the parade and pretending they’ve been leading it all along. If they’re about profit – “maximising shareholder value” – maybe they just want to give customers what they think they want even if it looks like, in this case, Shell is on the path to self-destruction.

Are they going along to get along? Is what they’re really anticipating is that “society” will eventually tire of this latest ginned-up issue and move on to another, whereupon Shell can discard all this crap and go back to their main job of producing petroleum products? I hope so, otherwise we can add another cause for their behavior: Just plain bad judgment.

If their judgement is based on materialism, their behavior makes perfect sense.

Same from Exxon, which is actually facing a hostile takeover from “greens” trying to get themselves elected to the board.

I have long argued that Big Oil would be the first to anticipate and discover alternatives before we get anywhere close to “running out of oil” (which was the old alarmist excuse for being anti-fossil fuel, before carbon became bad) precisely because if they didn’t, they’d go out of business.

So I see this as simply part of the R&D budget necessary to allow them to keep going in the current political climate. The glossy brochure part of the annual report claims that newly-built plants are reducing emissions, blah, blah, blah, but you know what else they are doing? Processing more efficiently. If carbon emissions were not a Thing, they would still be doing R&D to figure out how to process fossil fuels more efficiently. They’re just hyping the emissions reduction flavoring. I see it less as “anticipatory compliance” as I see it continuing to do what they’ve always done but making it look prettier.

There is another reason why these dirtbag business leader elites do as they do- us common normal people do not do anything in retaliation.
e.g.- Disney’s mindset will change if we boycott their products; no going to their parks, no buying their stuff online, trading in our pro- mouse car stickers for Disney critical ones. Etc..
We provide their profits; we can eliminate them.

Putting myself in the position of having to identify with and adopt the ideology of a captor that wields power over my life, I can certainly imagine that I would do so, just as Bill describes. The book he is reading clears up a lot of the questions I’ve asked about the Jews behavior leading up to and during the Holocaust. As an outsider I could not fathom why they seemed to be so docile and acquiescent in their manner toward their killers. I just didn’t get it, but Bill sheds some light. Anticipatory compliance in that scenario makes sense. And it makes sense for progressives in the context of feeding and bolstering their carefully curated identities – they are less than zero if they cannot preen and parade their virtuous behavior, carefully constructed of lies and delusions. In short, they care nothing, nada, zip about anyone but their holy selves and the admiration and acceptance of their peers. They are holograms of reality, transparent narcissists hiding behind the curtain of their religion Do-Gooderism (read Mona Charen’s 2004 book Do-Gooders: How Liberals Hurt Those They Claim to Help (and the Rest of Us).

i have probably read twenty books about ww2, in particular the horror and chaos of the ‘jewish question’. never get enough.
