Moot?

NY Times: “The Supreme Court announced on Monday that it would not hear an appeal from Pennsylvania Republicans who sought to disqualify mailed ballots in the 2020 presidential election that arrived after Election Day..”

I/We fought hard to support Kavanaugh’s and Barrett’s appointments – defended them as brave defenders of individual rights and freedom, Etc.  Is it not the height of cowardice for them to rule as they did Monday?

I’m at a loss – Please help me understand their rationale!

1 Behold, now it came to pass that soon after Moroni had sent his epistle unto the chief governor, he received an epistle from Pahoran [TRUMP], the chief governor. And these are the words which he received:
2 I, Pahoran, who am the chief governor [PRESIDENT] of this land, do send these words unto Moroni, the chief captain over the army. Behold, I say unto you, Moroni, that I do not joy in your great afflictions, yea, it grieves my soul.
3 But behold, there are those [LEFTISTS] who do joy in your afflictions, yea, insomuch that they have risen up in rebellion against me, and also those of my people who are freemen, yea, and those who have risen up are exceedingly numerous.
4 And it is those who have sought to take away the judgment-seat [PRESIDENCY] from me that have been the cause of this great iniquity; for they have used great flattery, and they have led away the hearts [VOTES] of many people, which will be the cause of sore affliction among us; they have withheld our provisions, and have daunted [CANCELLED] our freemen that they have not come unto you.
5 And behold, they have driven me out before them, and I have fled to the land of Gideon, with as many men as it were possible that I could get.
6 And behold, I have sent a proclamation throughout this part of the land; and behold, they are flocking to us daily, to their arms, in the defence of their country and their freedom, and to avenge our wrongs.
7 And they have come unto us, insomuch that those who have risen up in rebellion against us are set at defiance, yea, insomuch that they do fear us and durst not come out against us to battle.
8 They have got possession of the land, or the city, of Zarahemla [WASHINGTON DC]; they have appointed a king [BIDEN] over them, and he hath written unto the king of the Lamanites [CHINA], in the which he hath joined an alliance with him; in the which alliance he hath agreed to maintain the city of Zarahemla, which maintenance he supposeth will enable the Lamanites to conquer the remainder of the land, and he shall be placed king over this people when they shall be conquered under the Lamanites.
9 And now, in your epistle you have censured me, but it mattereth not; I am not angry, but do rejoice in the greatness of your heart. I, Pahoran, do not seek for power, save only to retain my judgment-seat that I may preserve the rights and the liberty of my people. My soul standeth fast in that liberty in the which God hath made us free.
10 And now, behold, we will resist wickedness even unto bloodshed. We would not shed the blood of the Lamanites if they would stay in their own land.
11 We would not shed the blood of our brethren if they would not rise up in rebellion and take the sword against us.
12 We would subject ourselves to the yoke of bondage if it were requisite with the justice of God, or if he should command us so to do.
13 But behold he doth not command us that we shall subject ourselves to our enemies, but that we should put our trust in him, and he will deliver us.

Our “rulers” have been immune from our laws for some time (2 sets of rules).
Now we are almost to WROL. Which means “they” still have no punishment for what they do, but us “peasants” will be struck down forcefully for each and every infraction.
And the “felonies and misdemeanors” will be added to on a regular basis to quell any dissent.
“There is nothing new under the Sun.”
Several events in history followed these same tactics.
Perhaps this is how we get ahead of them. ???

“Our time’s sharp distinction between rulers and ruled, the ever decreasing interchange and sympathy between them, is rooted in the disdain for ordinary Americans that the universities have sown since the Civil War. Ordinary Americans and their rulers are alienated now in ways unimaginable to the Northerners and Southerners who killed each other a century and a half ago, but who nodded when Abraham Lincoln noted that they ‘prayed to the same God.’ Both revered the American founding. Both aspired to the same family life. Often, opposite sides’ generals were personal friends. And why not? The schools they attended, the books they read, did not teach them the others’ inferiority. They were one people. Now, we are no longer one people.

“In our time, the most widespread of differences between rulers and ruled is also the deepest: The ruled go to church and synagogue. The rulers are militantly irreligious and contemptuous of those who are not. Progressives since Herbert Croly’s and Woodrow Wilson’s generation have nursed a superiority complex. They distrust elections because they think that power should be in expert hands—their own. They believe that the U.S Constitution gave too much freedom to ordinary Americans and not enough power to themselves, and that America’s history is one of wrongs. The books they read pretend to argue scientifically that the rest of Americans are racist, sexist, maybe fascists, but above all stupid. For them, Americans are harmful to themselves and to the world, and have no right to self-rule. That is why our revolution started from a point more advanced in its logic than many others.

“The anti-establishment ‘wave elections’ of 2010 and 2014, in which the Democratic Party lost Congress and control of a majority of state legislatures, only led America’s Progressive rulers to double down on their positions of power in the judiciary, the media, corporations, etc. The Supreme Court struck down a referendum by liberal California defining marriage as the union of one man and one woman. The federal Defense of Marriage Act, which had become law by near-unanimity, was overturned bureaucratically and judicially. The Religious Freedom Restoration Act, on the books just as firmly, was undone by executive, judicial, bureaucratic, corporate, and mediatic subordination of religious freedom to anti-discrimination. By the 2016 election, America’s Progressive rulers were demonizing and punishing persons who define male and female by their birth and personal plumbing. 1984’s Big Brother had not been so imperious…”

Moot?

Clarence Thomas made a good point.

But which court needs to hear the argument?

The courts with the benches and the people in robes?

Or the voters, who should be learning by now that if the tactics of 2020 mean they don’t count in a country that is supposed to be “Of the people, by the people, for the people.”

Maybe, in the court this case was presented, the point is Moot.

Maybe that should be what rouses the People of Pennsylvania.

Accountability, is not just a long word. It is what stops people from doing things that have negative repercussions. There seem to be no repercussions for these aristocrats and the rest of the ruling class.
Think about the simple fact that in order to even be considered for these positions of power.

  1. They must have already been running in their circles.
  2. Going to their schools (not public schools)
  3. Working in their offices (governmental)
  4. Joining their establishments/clubs/organizations
  5. If they are already part of their world, why would they even consider changing something they and theirs benefit from?

What good are their ‘Oath’s” of Office if there are no consequences for violating them? I don’t even think there are legal recourse to hold them accountable for these “Hurtful” lies they tell in from of representatives of the courts. A thought, could this be considered perjury?

“Is it not the height of cowardice for them to rule as they did Monday?”

Sure looks that way to me.

Notice how few of those who seek to rule over us actually refuse to do their jobs? And they’re being paid handsomely while not doing their jobs. That’s called stealing from your employer (us.)
