Just Watched the last blog post with a home made Imagine song, which was really fun. Made me think about all the songs some guy on YT has re written and apparently performed the music (perhaps) to these parodies by Shelter at Home Mixes. This one is particularly funny and worth a watch. You can tell by the words that he’s had enough. He’s done so many, and all are songs we know by heart. Just now with words that are much more timely.

HA! That is FUN!
All his songs are pretty funny. It’s almost like YT is throttling him because look at his total subscriptions. It’s like 10. And he’s been doing this nearly a year. Weird.
My favorites are:
We’re All Alone (Boz Scaggs sendup of song with the same name)
How Clean are Your Gloves (Bee Gees parody How deep is your love)
Try to Remember (Jerry Orbach, from the Fantastics Musical)
and
Sanitary Man (Neil Diamond Solitary Man sendup.).This is the one which got me hooked.
I can’t believe he doesn’t have a gazillion subscribers – you’re right – YouTube is squelching his coverage. I appreciate the sly humor and not just a little bit of talent and creativity to so cleverly pan the panic.
Thanks for giving me another resource to turn to when the idiocy gets to be too much.
I love this guy’s subversive humor! And his takes on the music are quite catchy. (His Elvis “Impersonation” is hilarious!) As for subs – I just subbed to the guy. I’ll be checking back to see if Youtube lets me STAY subbed.
