Every time somebody mentions Gerlado Rivera’s TV special about the Capone Vault, my mind travels back to my young childhood. Night after night, my eyes glued to the TV set, feeling the anticipation mount. Only to be utterly dashed, replaced with confusion when the empty vault was displayed. It may be petty, but I have never fully forgiven that bastard for such a disappointment – even though I can’t actually say what I actually expected to be in there (lots of money?).
I am thankful that it taught me a lesson about managing my own expectations in the face of obvious manipulation, and whenever I see somebody (or in this case a whole bunch of somebodies) falling prey to that trap, I can’t quite help laughing and feeling a sizable dose of Schadenfruede.

It is beyond my comprehension that these two agonizingly tedious years of anti-Trumpism reflected in this “collusion” narrative end up with such a shameless denial of any journalistic malfeasance. And how the viewing public can continue to have any loyalty to these snake-oil salesmen in the mainstream media is also incomprehensible.
You can bet that the Pulitzer prizes bestowed on the “investigations” from these cads won’t be returned. No one will be canned at any network for bad journalism. It is even in the realm of possibility that the only “journalists” who won’t get promoted are the ones that actually report that the Mueller Investigation came up negative.

Distracting, I felt like I was getting the subliminal messages like….. Buy a new car, or go have a shot of whiskey and a beer chaser… or if I had the right sunglasses, I could see who was really speaking. LOL
I think it was caused by YouTube’s new studio interface where we upload the videos. I intended to upload a new version when I got home, but there was nothing wrong with our video, and the YT video looks better now.
