My daughter, Haleigh, a church-planting missionary who works among tribal people in the jungle of Bolivia, is now trying to raise funds to save a 6-year-old boy who’s dying of an infection but can’t get the testing and treatment he needs because his family owes the hospital $800.
They refuse to do more diagnostic work until the debt is paid, but now he’s in ICU.
You can read more about it here.
Haleigh has set up a “gofundme” type campaign for $10,000 to cover the debt, plus the testing and life-saving treatment he needs.
Frankly, we don’t know if he can be saved, but I invite you to review what Haleigh posted, and prayerfully consider how to respond.
You can learn more about Haleigh’s mission on her ‘Praying for Bolivia’ Facebook page.
Thanks.

The photo above is the boy’s arm, swollen with an infection they think is “tuberculosis bacterial meningitis.”
The photo below is my daughter Haleigh with some of the Tsmane’ tribal girls in the jungle village. She teaches Bible classes for them, and their mothers, as her small team of missionaries works to bring the gospel to a village which is a three-days river journey from “civilization”. Haleigh is already fluent in Spanish, and is diligently studying so she can communicate the gospel to them in their tribal language, since many of them understand nothing else.

Were the parents able to save this little Boy?
The little boy is now on a breathing machine and things don’t look good, but Christ is able to do more than we can ask or imagine for His glory and our ultimate good. May He do so now with power and mercy.
I can give a little. Let’s get this boy some help.
Thank you, Justin.
I donated what I could and wish I had more. Have my own medical bills to pay. Praying for situation.
Thank you, Harry…for the money and the prayer.
