This is not a hard problem. How do we solve it? Kick the proverbial crap out of one crybully and watch the rest of them run for their safe spaces. All we have to do is tell them, “No!” I’ve just never been in a position to do it, much less in a position to do it where it would get national attention. Closest I get is having the opportunity to tell a storeowner to take a hike I’m not wearing a mask and to call the cops if they don’t like it. The police here won’t show up to roust the panhandlers. Sure as hell aren’t going to answer the call for someone not wearing a mask. Problem is that one store doesn’t do crap. They’re just following orders from the bigger bullies.
We need high profile crybully beatdowns by unwoke CEO’s and maybe national anti-woke organizations against BLM or whomever. I would so totally enjoy being hired to come in and debate the bejeezus out of these lefties while defending execs who don’t know how or don’t have the time. Hell I’ve been doing it online for free. Might as well get paid. Our number could be 1-800-4UN-WOKE or something like that. Basically, call us and we’ll send one of us to cleanse your company of wokeness. LOL.
Mark my words. Someone’s going to do it. We’d essentially be a PR firm pushing an unwoke agenda. Fighting these little twerps every day would be a dream and so much fun. We’d be the Orkin men and women for companies to hire to get rid of their wokeness infestations. HR departments would hate us. It’d be so awesome. We could have specialty divisions to combat the b.s….White Privilege, Legacy of Slavery, BLM, Systemic Racism, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, Gender Confusion…we’d have so much fun it’d be a crime.
Closest we have now is Stephen Miller’s America First Legal which is supposed to be the conservative brand of the ACLU. I hope he starts backing conservatives in danger of losing their jobs at woke companies when someone finds out they support Trump. https://www.foxnews.com/politics/ex-trump-aide-stephen-miller-conservative-law-group-challenge-democratic-policies

Great idea but I’m not sure how you’d go about making any money at it.
I’m no legal expert and you would absolutely need to have some sort of legal beagles on your side and up your sleeve.
I have worked as a consultant/contractor for business IT for decades and just the “this computer is company property and you have no expectation of privacy on company owned equipment nor are you permitted to conduct personal affairs or business on company infrastructure” thing is a legal PITA.
I got into the middle of a pissing contest over a salaried employee who was operating his own separate real estate business office from his work computer … in a veterinary clinic. I logged all of his unauthorized use of company IT systems and it cost him a raise on his annual evaluation but that didn’t stop him. Eventually I just blocked everything having to do with real estate at the firewall until he got the message. Not long after that he quit and went somewhere else to presumably continue the same practices. I have no idea how you’d apply something like that to “wokeness”.
I’d think a business flyer in the form of a letter outlining the offered “anti-woke” services would be a good place to start. It should begin with something like …
Are you tired of losing production over political squabbling in your office? Did you know that it is legal to require your HR department to register complaints from employees over any sort of bullying, including political bullying? Do you want this sort of production killing, time wasting, discontent sewing, morale killing in your organization to stop? Call or email us for a free consultation regarding your options.
Thank you so much for your advice and voice of experience. Obviously, I haven’t figured out the details from a legal standpoint. I guess I’d need to work with attorneys who knew the law in each state regarding the ins and outs of hiring and firing.
Either that or I could try to interest every SJW in a career in real estate.
I think we’re essentially locked into a battle of HR departments be they actual departments or policies set by a small business CEO. One side of the business universe will go the woke social justice way and lose all the talented employees who don’t want to put up with their crap. The other side will be filled with hardworking, fun-loving people who don’t want any part of the Marxist garbage ideology the wokeristas are trying to force upon society.
Personally, I think the woke crowd will find themselves in the minority quickly and start eating themselves. I don’t really care as long as the rest of us actual adults can get on with our lives and businesses without wondering if Susie or Patrick will be offended by overhearing a joke and try to hurt everyone else by grinding the whole company to a halt.
How do we keep our companies Marxist-free? Good question. I know that newspapers such as “The Philadelphia Inquirer” forces new hires to sign a social justice pledge. I’m sure we could ask the same of new employees except in reverse…a “free America” pledge or whatever. Not bulletproof, of course, but it would be hard for them to claim ignorance in court.
I would like to be able to protect people from discrimination based on political views. Firings for such reasons would be hard to prove. There’s always something else the woke company could blame the firing upon. Kind of ironic considering the actual racists they oppose use the same tactic to fire minorities they don’t like, using the slightest infraction as just cause to rid themselves of employees they don’t like.
What the left hypocritical? I’m shocked.
It’s a work in progress.
Thanks again. God bless.
It occured to me that you might try approaching the problem from the other end. Rather than employers fielding HR squabbles over political bullying, what if you started an employment service for the “non-woke” that employers could hire from?
People could do temp and intern work after they signed an agreement to either be apolitical or at least not “woke” in their jobs (you’d have to work out the wording, probably with a lawyer but only one lawyer and only one time) and if they worked out and did what they said then the company could bring them on full time. If not, well … “Sorry but your temp contract or internship term is up, see ya’ and don’t let the door hit you in the ass on the way out”.
People hired under those auspices would be likely to tamp down wokeness and have a chilling effect on the woke mob at work, plus they could always file complaints with their HR or boss about political bullying intended to cost them their job, too.
If it caught on the net result could be polarizing but even polarization is better than unilateral one-sidedness.
