Hi Everyone. I’m writing from Calgary, Canada. Glad to be here with you. It can be very lonely as a Trump supporter north of the 49th parallel. I’ve followed US politics since I was 5 in Toronto and my father told me JFK had won “by a whisker”. I’ve been a big fan of Bill’s for several years. I remember watching his Stratosphere Lounge for the first time in the depressive wake of the 2012 election loss and Bill predicting that the next Republican president would come from the popular culture. Never forgot that and he was right on! I am following the election aftermath with great interest and a bit of trepidation and great to know that at BWC I am among a community of friends. I appreciate Bill’s fearlessness which is absolutely essential right now. Wishing you all well, Jill

Thank you, Jack. True. I’m sure they’re around but I live and work in the Arts, which is not exactly a conservative friendly environment. And probably like me, if they are around they’re mostly keeping their thoughts to themselves. If the media in the States is 93% Trump negative, here it’s 99%.Having spent my career in a large media organization in Ottawa (but in music, not news), I learned to distrust it, but so many of my friends take what they hear at face value. Big mistake….
