I’ve been a fan of Mr. Whittle since ’03 or ’04 when I stumbled upon an essay he’d written on his old website ejectejecteject.com titled History. It dealt with the duplicitous media but from a twisty perspective. It started out quoting newspapers that were lambasting the president and the cabinet and especially his SecDef for being draconian and bungling the war and all the rest. Then the twist. While I thought he was referencing Bush, Rumsfeld and the boys he was quoting newspapers from the civil war era! I was hooked. I couldn’t believe there was someone out there who felt like I did when I watched the evening news (which no longer happens). I became voracious for his essays and started to branch out to other areas of the forbidden side of the World Wide Web, how cute that phrase sounds now, and found Steve Green at Vodkapundit.com and Scott Ott at Scrappleface.com. Bill was my man though and I’ve always checked back in from time to time but I’m not what I’d call a daily user but I’ll tell you what, if he was in need, I’d help.
Well, the truth is that he is in need. He’s one of only a select handful of high profile folks who put themselves out there to suffer the slings and arrows of their particular outrageous fortune on a daily basis and say the things that need to be said while shining the light of truth, logic and reason into the deep dark recesses of our political system and exposes the frauds, including this latest coup attempt, where it could be dangerous, in these troubled times we all live in, to do so.
So, on behalf of Bill and Scott and Steve and all the rest of us, thanks for joining and supporting this mission critical effort that we’re all on to save this republic and retain our individual sovereignty.
For me it was the essay about Forty Second Boyd and the OODA loop.
Welcome. Truth, for one thing. Question anything that Bill says. He get’s agitated from time to time.(That’s a joke son, that’s a joke. Fog Horn, Leg Horn voice) Steve is pretty reliable, but occasionally, especially when the family is involved, he may seem like he’s going off the rails. What Scott says, you can take to the bank, except when he’s in “mild manner liberal reporter” mode.
