School attacks in China
China has been going through mass stabbings, hammer and cleaver attacks since 2010.
The attacks are primarily aimed at Elementary schools, daycare, nursery schools, and primarily targeting kids there.
Around 90 people have died, and 473 have been injured. The videos (if you’re ever unlucky enough to end up watching them, or insane enough to go seek them out) are nightmare inducing level. Little vulnerable kids with their face, and body slashed. Some of the children had had fingers or ears cut off in the knife attack.
Even if you completely ban guns, sickos will not be banned, and China shows it. What is far more necessary is protecting the schools and our most vulnerable people.
One reply on “Nightmare Material Warning: This does not only happen in the US. China edition”
Unarmed citizens are nothing more than sitting ducks. No one in the world is protected from the madness of those who make unprovoked attacks against unarmed and innocent people. A bloodbath is the obvious outcome. How to protect schools or other public places has no easy answer short of turning them into impregnable fortresses and even that wouldn’t stop a bomber.
Life is dangerous. People are dangerous. Schools, churches, theaters, stadiums, hospitals – none of these are immune from what happened in Uvalde regardless of what you do. But in spite of the media attention they are extremely rare.
The type of people who commit these monstrous acts are nihilist, disaffected, demoralized, certainly mentally ill, delusional, narcissistic, psychopathic, self-aggrandizing and some of them are evil. Many laws have been enacted that take away our ability to protect ourselves from these miscreants. These horrors are not going to stop.
For some perspective following is a quote from an article by John Hawkins
This quote is from a column I did in 2018:
Here’s a link to John Hawkins sub stack which offers 6 proposals for reducing mass executions.

In sum I believe armed citizens will save lives.
