Zo, PLEASE watch Black Panther. The lead antagonist is totally focused on slavery. You’ll love this movie because you will have a LOT to say afterward.
LOL – I just got an email from Regal for Wakanda. I replied and told them I wasn’t allowed to go.
Both of you would love the movies. The first has no woke at all. The change to a female black panther is canon in several ways. In canon Black panther began working with the Avengers and while he was away his sister took over at home. That gave them extra comic’s in the 1980’s – 90’s. It was not woke and it was the good kind of feminism. In another part of the comic black panther is out of action, and everyone thinks he’s dead, so his other sister gears up and becomes a black panther but she’s rogue, a very vengeful and out of control. She winds up fighting some of the Avengers as a foe. The third driver was the fact that the actor, Chadwick Boseman, got cancer and died and they did not want to replace him with another actor, though he had suggested people. However in other marvel comics they had the idea of exploring the loss. So that path was available. Its interesting that they introduced Namor in the mix.
What this daughter of prosperity, freedom and plenty is doing is voicing a fantasy that tells you the manner in which she wants you to lick her feet as the price of your ticket to join her little “Me Club”.
She doesn’t really expect anyone to do the thing she’s commanding them to do, or if she does she’s either stupid or psychotic. I’ll give her the benefit of the doubt and just assume she’s a spoiled puerile egocentric narcissist. No doubt raised by other spoiled puerile egocentric narcissists.
She’s not a “product of TV and film indoctrination” or any shallow minded stupidity of the sort. She’s a product of puerile selfishness and hate. The reason you can know this to be true is she would be exactly as she is if she’d never seen a TV show or a movie. There have been people like her around long, long before there were ever any sort of TV shows or movies. Those mediums might have laid a glossy veneer over her spiteful childishness but a veneer is the most they could be.
Beauty may be skin deep but the kind of ugliness this chick portrays runs all the way to the heart.
She’s a product of TV and film indoctrination. As are most people on both sides of the political spectrum. If I hadn’t got rid of my TV, and stop watching Hollow-wood propaganda over 15 years ago, I would still be completely under their spell. You wouldn’t believe just how spiritually liberating it is when you unplug from it.
We are drawn to it like a moth to the flame. And we all know what happens to the moth when it gets too close. It’s literally what God means by “Love not the world nor the things in it”.
Well, granted I’m in a small town, but we do have a larger than national 14.7% black population. I searched and searched and can’t find a single, or married, black who is worse off than myself. I counted all the “for blacks only” benefits they get, and found myself even further behind.
Interesting how little slips give people away. The first word she uses to call on white people is “accomplices”.
