Really good question – the answer is not yet – if Putin takes Ukraine and stops – puts in a puppet government (again) and flogs some of their land – all good. If Russia keeps going and hits a Nato country – well I will be next to you on the battlefield as we take European countries back – again! time will tell – this is how both world wars started.
However I currently believe that Putin is not an idiot – I want to believe this is a matter being dealt with internally – I really hope I am right.
I hope you’re right. Perhaps Ukraine’s future is akin to Finland during Stalin’s reign. We’re in trouble if Putin tries to “teach NATO a lesson.”
He’s already threatened Finland and Sweden. Biden asked for volunteers from our border agents to go to Poland to help with refugees. That, and he threatened to drop the international space station on the US. Putin may not be an idiot, but he is maniacal. I’m not sure which is worse.
In his autobiography, he admits that his KGB superiors criticized young agent Putin for having an undeveloped sense of danger.
