Was reminded of this video by Martin Archer’s recent post of their “One Giant Leap” halftime show. The precision, stamina, and ability to maintain awareness of where you are in relation to the field as a whole is even more impressive from this angle. Not to mention the way the doppler effect would mess with your timing!

great video! The raked angle made it even more disconcerting as to what was happening.
Ha, yes–what I found most striking is just how skewed the individual perception of the band’s performance is. What you can hear at any moment is completely different depending on the band’s movement through the various formations.
