I am worried. I will say it plainly. Americans are the weakest band of government groveling, power worshipping, half wit trusting, ninnies that I can find in history. For all of the talk about Chamberlain, it is the nation of cowboys and continentals that won’t show face in public without the overly hyped COVID mask. I speak to people from all over this world. a startling number of people believe that the lockdowns and the mask mandates and laws are the stuff of political theater.
What shatters my faith in this country most of all is seeing long time heroes of free thought and free markets demanding that we kneel before the altar of fear and politically motivated nonsense. I am absolutely nauseated by the idea that fear is the new religion of the masses. It drives me to the realization that if times such as those that faced our founding citizens arose before us, the only words that our “heroes” could mutter in hall monitor fashion would be “On your knees! It is the polite thing to do for your new king.”

I am very disappointed in the people who I always thought were sensible giving in to it. Spoke to a friend last week who’s usually sympatico on these things but who met his grandchildren while distanced and masked and was rather shocked that my much larger family had all of our holiday get togethers and celebrations just as we always have, no distancing , no masks. It feels like the movie ‘Invasion of the Body Snatchers’

People from nations all over the world “obey” the mask “edicts” and do it over and over. Every single time their govt. tells them to. (Have to wear it indoors, no, outdoors, no, in public spaces, no, in the toilet but not in the kitchen, etc.)
Australia just locked their people down again. Their “edicts” and lockdowns have been brutal compared to most of the U.S.
It’s not about the rona, it’s not about the masks, it’s not about the vaccine (which requires a 2nd dose and will require “boosters”). It’s not about all the arbitrary “edicts” to “slow the spread”.
IT’S ABOUT CONTROL! They want to rule over us “peasants”.
They are testing how far they can push the masses in every Western country. And they are taking away our identity, our history, and our freedoms.
So far they’ve learned they can say “wear” and we’ll wear. They say “bang your pots for the NHS”, and we bang our pots.
They have indoctrinated our kids, brainwashed our university students, and now are forcing the adults to do their bidding out of FEAR.
FEAR is their weapon. They use on the news, social media and print. They’ve wielded it so well to command us to “stay, sit, beg”, just like a dog.
What is the answer? How do we “fix” the mess we’ve allowed ourselves to get into?
STOP DOING WHAT THEY SAY!
Not just one or two people. EVERYONE in EVERY country. STOP IT!
They only have power IF WE ALLOW IT!
Once they don’t have the power anymore and they know it, then cast them all out of politics. Don’t allow them to create one more piece of legislation or vote on one more “Twilight Zone” law for your country.
Then vote in normal, everyday working people from your town/county/state to fill the parliament, the congress, etc. Rid yourself of the EU and their “refugee” quotas. Do you know why they’re flooding your country with refugees?
But I need my job, you may say. I get it, but what will we have if we give up all our rights and freedoms for our job? Will you give up your country and betray your countrymen? How about those police, huh?
Do you REALLY think our lords and masters will make sure all of us have good paying jobs after they’ve taken over every “used to be free” country in the world?
They want a public dependent on government hand-outs. That is why they ruined their economies (yes, on purpose), put small businesses out of business, and made millions of people’s jobs “non-essential”. More people on the government dole, the merrier.
Have you ever asked yourself why a “pandemic disease” kills mostly the elderly or those with co-morbidities? Why the gov. of NY put rona elderly into nursing homes & so many got infected and died? Healthy people have better immune systems. Healthy people can work and pay taxes to support all the people who don’t want to work. (When did we stop believing in our own immune system for a 99.8 or so survivability rate disease?)

It is one thing to be invaded and destroyed from outside forces. Another to be invaded by inside forces. But it’s beyond comprehension to wake up every single day knowing we are allowing for our own slow destruction.
I’m not one for conspiracy theories, but I understand that WWG1WGA is not about a certain person or insider coming to save us all.
It’s an idea. An idea that we’re all in this together. That we must ALL work together against a common enemy.
I’ve seen photos of people flying the WWG1WGA flags at rallies or demonstrations all over the world.

Not quite sure who you mean. Pretty much the Democrats and their virtue-signaling sycophants are the ones who are going merrily along with the mask and lockdown nonsense.
I think a lot of people who would rather not wear masks in stores go along so as not be hassled by staff. Personally, certain stores I don’t wear one and all the others I wear it to get in the door then pull it down once inside.
I also think a lot of people are seeing an end in sight with the vaccines being administered and the lockdowns being lifted and so reason that another month or so of “compliance” with this charade is the best way to go. In other words, you need to pick your battles and at this point,a maskless revolt is pointless.
What we will see, I think, is a revisiting and limiting of the powers that these governors have in the event of an emergency. I also think we’ll see a lot more mass non-compliance and pushback should the mask mandates continue much longer now that people are being vaccinated. People are fed up with the goalpost moving.
Again, I will politely decline to point out people by name.

The problem with that logic is that it reinforces the idea that governments may place these burdens on people when they will and remove them at their own pleasure. That ought to be vastly more frightening than COVID19.
Reminding the government (and hall monitor “citizens”) that freedom is not an exercise in blind obedience is worth doing in this situation because waiting for dictatorial local, state, and federal authorities to allow us to be free again is a surrender of freedoms. There is no effective argument made against the seizure of our liberty while we bow to these unscientific, unconstitutional, unreasonable mandates.
I guess I just love freedom more than convenience.
