Orwell Was A Prophet

2020 was a tumultuous year. Most people were glad to see it end, and hoped that 2021 would be better. Turns out that the past is mere prologue. So far, this year has been infinitely worse. The Covid lockdowns and other restrictions are not going anywhere, and that’s just for starters.

On January 6th, we saw the most blatant False Flag event ever staged. Antifa said repeatedly on Social Media that they were going to infiltrate the Trump rally. The FBI knew days in advance that there was going to be violence. There’s photographic evidence of known Antifa members inside the Capitol and video footage of the Capitol Police removing the barricades and letting them in. The whole thing was planned and orchestrated. Consider; In the past five years, violence and lawlessness have Never been a part of ANY Trump rally, but they’ve hallmarks of EVERY Antifa/BLM event. In any case, the desired goal was achieved.  The eighty million Americans who voted for President Trump have been declared potential Terrorists and Enemies of the State.

On January 21st, the National Guard was activated in virtually every state capital in anticipation of violence that never materialized. Twenty-five Thousand troops were deployed to DC, to protect the inauguration.  Twenty. Five. Thousand. That’s not security, it’s an Occupying Force. And they’re still there. Not to mention the barbed wire and barricades around the Capitol and White House. We’re a heartbeat away from Martial Law. 

In the first ninety days of his regime, Joe Biden signed over fifty Executive Orders. Thirty-five of them in his FIRST WEEK IN OFFICE! It’s unprecedented. When the one charged with implementing the law is also effectively writing the legislation, that’s Despotism. It gets worse. There’s footage of a Signing Ceremony,  wherein Biden looks blankly at an Order and says, “I don’t know what I’m signing.” A voice from off-camera responds, “Sign it, anyway.” Joe shrugs, and does as he’s told. That’s Despotism by Remote Control.

The Big Tech Oligarchs want the Regime to appoint a “Reality Czar” to combat “Misinformation” i.e.: any information or opinion that runs counter to the Narrative. Whether we’re talking about the integrity of the last election, mask mandates, the efficacy of the Covid vaccines, Climate Change, Critical Race Theory or any of the Left’s control mechanisms, dissension must be silenced.

No doubt, this will be followed by the creation of a new Cabinet-Level position, The Department of Truth, after which you’ll never need to think again. The Party will tell you what is true and what isn’t. And if Today’s Truth contradicts Yesterday’s Truth, don’t worry about it. Trust The Party to do your thinking for you. Just obey. 

And lest you think that this Rule by Administrative Fiat is unique to the Federal Government, let me give you a word of advice: Pay attention to your state, county and local governments. The would-be Elites are everywhere, even down to the local School Board. Those of you who have been paying attention know what I’m talking about. Elected officials at every level of government, who think that the citizenry are, as Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez said, “Just shouting from the cheap seats”. These people have forgotten that They work for Us. The idea of government For, By and Of the People is passe. Now, the Ruling Class (and sadly, many citizens) want Rule by the Elite, Policy set by The Experts, and a compliant Subject Class who do as they’re told.   

Whether it’s Communism, Fascism, or Socialism, this approach to governance has failed everywhere it’s been tried. The lessons of history are plain to see for those who have the courage to face them. Ronald Reagan said that Freedom is only one generation away from extinction. History will judge us. Let us not be remembered the American generation who had the most to lose, and did the least to prevent it.
