We have witnessed our own Gleiwitz incident where Antifa/anarchists appearing among crowds of conservatives have smeared the cause of freedom with violence. The media and politicians on both sides have seized on this opportunity and will not let the crisis go to waste. There are still some patriots in Congress but the remainder are moving so fast to virtual signal to benefit themselves that it will become obvious who’s who. We have been played for suckers, though many feared this sort of thing would happen.
It really upsets me that the Democrats who I loosely associate with on social media who turned a blind eye to violence and burning last year are suddenly shaming anyone they perceive as right leaning. As if we support violence like they did last year. Once again, the Democrats projecting their own failure to condemn onto Conservatives.
Their narrative against us has been solidified now. I fear where this convenient crisis will take us.

They may have their justification for making that “list” now.
Being a veteran I can say the security was sh*t at the capital, especially since they knew there was going to be a protest.
A couple hours after dark there were still no Anti-fa or BLM thugs out. Out of character for them.
Coincidence?
You are all giving the establishment way to much credit.
There is no way that our FBI, National Defense, Homeland Security, CIA, Secret Service, District Police, DOJ, or any other agency could possible identify and actually successfully investigate this incident.
There are no cameras, or recording devices, certainly no body cameras on police, that could actually show detailed footage of these incidents.
Even if there was it would be corrupted, deleted, altered, or at very least clipped to fit the winners narrative.
In addition, any person actually leaking real footage would bring down the full force of all of these and other departments onto their heads. Whistle blowers are not protected unless they spread the winners version of the history.
Truth, what is your definition of truth?
My version of truth is only based upon my limited information. I cannot base my decisions on information that I am not privy to.
My truth, therefore is that from what I have seen and know, we have been lied to, stolen from, and denied a fair an impartial hearing of our grievances.
Yep, that sounds like the fair and just socialist country we now live in. Long live the aristocracy.
The tech is pretty close, although it would require at least crowd photographs. You’re probably right about the response though. At the end of the day, my point is simply that it would be nice to know if it were staged. Overall though, it doesn’t really matter.
Please do remember though that even if people are slandered, government is corrupted, people are attacked by groups, or even the citizenry be attacked by forces due to external control… the idea of America, its rights and constitution will still live if enough decent people believe in it.
The battle may be lost, but the war, though more likely very costly now, will eventually be won.
As I stated elsewhere, someone needs to use technology to run the faces of those causing trouble at this protest with the faces of those causing trouble at the BLM/Antifa events. If they match, then a question is answered.
This is already being done. I have seen 99% matches of Antifa members already. They aren’t that smart…taking selfies and posting them to social media.
All I know to do right now is buckle up and get ready to hang on to the seat. There is just too much happening too fast to make complete sense of things.
