Out of Control: When Things Feel This Bad, Americans Express themselves at the Ballot Box

If the country were simply on the wrong path, we might see voters tweaking things at the ballot box, but what happens when, as a new poll shows, 80 percent of likely voters think the country is “out of control”?

Bill, I just sent you another $100. You are worth more than I can share or explain. I stopped contributing to the GOP party years ago, and tried to contribute to just Trump in 2020. After the horrible theft of the 2020 election, I just contributed to sites like yours, and Green, who is running to maybe win over the entrenched Dem in our blue district. But it is you who are making the difference with reasonable, “normal” people. I have been an avid fan since wnen ever….the Firewall….Please take care of yourself, and keep up the good fight. We need you, and love you.

Steve, Part of me agrees about voting in person, but tomorrow isn’t guaranteed to anybody. Since nobody knows when their last day will come, I wanted to be as sure as possible that my vote went to Republicans. If I died before the election, my vote would have been cast for the Demonrat vermin.

(Of course, I realize that I run the risk of incurring the ire of the Anti-Defamation [of Vermin] League for associating them with Demonrats. AND, for the PC Christians who are shaking their heads and wringing their hands, I ask if I should have instead used more Biblical terms like snakes, dogs, beasts, pigs, or wolves, like David, Solomon, Isaiah, Ezekiel, Zephaniah, John the Baptist, Paul, Peter, and Jesus did. After all, we’ve all read the verse that says, “Before you dunk Me, John, you’ve got to knock off that ‘brood of vipers’ stuff. We want to ‘love’ these people into Heaven.” It’s in the Book of 1 Charlatans.)

On a side note, if any of you run into Dave Rubin could you please politely punch him and tell him to bring back the ability to turn off autoplay to Rumble? I’d almost rather give YouTube my eyeballs than worry about walking away from my computer and having some new video screaming at me when I rturn

The only explanation for the insane monetary policy of the USA is our reliance on other currencies to be less attractive to foreign and domestic investors. As the world’s dominant currency, we can go to 32 trillion dollars in debt and just ho-hum. Will the investors go to the Chinese, who seem to be immolating, especially with their sham real estate market being 30% of their economy? The Euro, with their Green policies bankrupting them?
And if there is no other choice as the world’s currency, what does debt matter? Well, if the majority of our tax money goes to pay interest on the debt, ….

This is such a good comment, it really deserves a solid and profound reply.

But instead of that, let me just restate once again that money is an “agreement” to employ it as a medium of account, a medium of exchange, and a store of value. Its use in that regard is so valuable that we will continue to use an existing money until the value is so degraded that we can no longer countenance using it any more. At that point something else will take its place. Given the large number of “free” Covid test kits that have been sent out, perhaps we will end up using them as a replacement currency.

Was it Lincoln who said you can fool some of the people all of the time, all of the people some of the time, but not all of the people all of the time? I suppose whoever stops being fooled first is a winner, along with whoever continues to be the fooler (deceiver) until the last.
