This is Much, Much scarier than this virus. I’ve been starting to call some of the governors dictators and tyrants but this is really starting to move from little tyranny to big tyranny. A single man ordered the entire state on house arrest and when people peacefully protested this unconstitutional action (many of which stayed in vehicles to maintain social distancing) he sent an army of police and prison transport busses to arrest them. Meanwhile actual criminals are being released from prison early to make room for peaceful protestors. This is not good.

And that is why we have a Bill of Rights.
“Those who would give up an essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.” Turns out you can sidestep by declaring the first amendment non-essential.
