Careful … I believe I heard that one of Dan Bongino’s videos was blocked by YouTube because he talked about the parent uprising against masks (in their sad, fascist minds just talking about it and showing what the parents said evidently violated the YouTube gods’ policy against “medical misinformation” and the entire video was taken down). Seriously, though, DON’T be intimidated by these creeps. (As for me, I try to watch your vids on Rumble because I am trying to decrease my YouTube hits as much as is reasonably possible)

Your story that 35% of Americans income now comes from government is very interesting. I think it says something to the state of the American people. Instead of looking forward to work a job they would rather sit at home and play video games. A poem by the poet EB Brown slowed comes to mine. ” Work! while the subtle Seasons onward role in certain course, the ways of this frail world to help control; then Keen remorse in life’s last moment are like Deeds unroll May strike no sudden anguish to thy soul.
Work! taking lessons from the mighty past, what men have done; yet let not those Old Masters hold the fast; they have begun what later Souls must finish. They have cast the first stone at Earth’s evil not the last. Work! but seek not false ambition’s Flame to light thee on; not so the man that wisdom ever came in long days gone; no sordid dream, no bare desire for fame has left on memories lips one worthy name.”

All of my household income comes from the gov., I am 77 and my wife is in her 70’s so we are both retired. On top of that I am Ret./Disabled Air Force so I a retirement check and VA disability. Not all of us out here, on the dole as it were, are just sucking the blood out of the country like the Marxist scum in the White House.

Your government checks were earned, Dennis, through fruitful labor and service to your country. Thank you for that. It hurts to be lumped in with tax eaters who have never contributed one worthy action on behalf of themselves or their country.
At 73 I still work full-time. 35% of my income goes to the government to pay for nothing I’d willingly give my money to if I were free to choose, except for the military and infrastructure – both of which should be paid for by citizens. I don’t need my social security benefits, but I collect them because I figure that some of the money that is stolen from me through taxes is recouped through my earned benefit. I don’t qualify for any other benefits and thankfully have never used one penny of medicare, so the premium that is taken out of my benefit pays for the health care of others: some deserving, like you, and some not. Sadly, the only choice I get to make for who gets my money is the charitable contributions I make, and I am damned confident those entities use my money for the purpose for which it is given.
You’ve given your blood to the country, a sacrifice most never will. You can be proud of receiving the benefits you’ve earned.

My dads in hospital for a pacemaker instillation. It seems to be working. There is covid paper work at the door but I’ve seen no one with masks at all except the normal surgery staff coming and going and they always wear masks. The rules changed while we were there meaning my brother was allowed in one day and not the next, they gave him a test and he is back in now visiting dad.

Another excellent episode Gentlemen!
Steve ……… Yamato? Can’t quite see enough for a positive I.D. with your smiling mug in the way!

The scary thing about woke black people talking rubbish about soap dispensers is that they are proving the KKK founders claim about the intellectual inferiority of black people right and we are not allowed to ask any questions to ascertain the real reason for their lack of knowledge and common sense. Are they taking their vitamin D?

My thoughts exactly! Over the past several years (including Obama’s self-proclaimed reign), I’ve often considered that the reprehensible and destructive behavior of those in the inner cities has done nothing but reinforce the worst perceptions of their intelligence. Barack Obama was, and is, often touted as an intelligent man, but my take on that was he and millions like him have succumbed to their base desires and relinquished all wisdom, which is the manifestation of true intelligence.

I really don’t think Obama or most on the left have been taught anything that is true. Common sense, intelligence and thousands of little things that make civilization work are just not in the curriculum anymore.

Its a safe bet that the thing the left really fears is the left itself but they can’t name it in public. A friend found out I was on Parler and said that I should get off it because I could be put on a watch list for being a member. That’s a conspiracy theory even I had not heard of! And I’m in Australia.
Should I tell him I’m already on the climate fanatics watch list of Aussy climate sceptics?

Obviously, these students are not engineering majors if they don’t understand the difference between motion sensors and optical sensors.

I’ve more than once joked with other people trying to get water or soap out of these sensors that we all look like we’re doing some kind of Kung Fu move.

The scientific definition of a “black body” is one that does not emit any light (at any frequency), so if a truly black body was waved under the dispenser sensor it would not be sensed and the soap would not dispense – right?!!

To discuss skin color literally: we know that the range of skin colors range from (basically) albino and/or maybe Nordic new-born, on through quite a range of shades and hues. The darkest skin of someone we might have seen recently could well be that of attorney Ben Crump, but even he is not literally “black”. Perhaps slightly darker than him, and the darkest skin coloration that I have ever seen, was the photo of an African man I saw some time back, where his skin color was a very dark dark blue. But it still was not quite black. Of course none of this says anything about the character of Mr. Crump or of that African or of anyone else.

Its a sonar technology or some times infrared laser radar (lidar) so in both cases its seeing the bones and meat of your hand not the surface skin. Skin is invisible to both sonar and infrared lidar.

At our house, we call a serious toilet trip The Battle With The Bowelrog (Balrog to all Tolkien fans), so when Scott was recounting his, um, experience with the toilet from hell, I imagined what the Battle of the Bowelrog vs. the Toilet From Hell might be like. Tears of laughter ensued. Great story, Scott, and one I will remember and quote for a long time to come.

I guess even a Lightning Round has its points of levity. Scott’s description of his toilet woes made me laugh outright – which is a welcome respite from the usual unbelievable crap that the left continues to shovel my way – all puns fully intended.

On the topic of the parents and the school board. The bylaws for the operation of any board commonly have a clause about abandonment of position and ability to fill the abandoned position with those present. As all of the members essentially abandoned an official meeting, the seats are vacant and the parents, as legal standing voters, could “elect” new members and legally act as the replacement school board. This is not uncommon when board members abandon elected posts, and there are likely many such examples. I would be curious if this kind of system could be utilized to replace some politicians?

To wear a mask or not to wear a mask? If not wearing a mask represents being a Republican… i.e.: Definition: deplorable, horrible, freedom loving, law abiding, self responsible, freedom of choice making, hardworking, intelligent, individualistic, environmentally conscious, overall thinking adult human being. Then we should all be terrified every time Biden is seen without one…

Apologies are you supporting or not supporting wearing a mask?
I will assume you were asserting that wearing mask is not a good thing, because the research you linked supports that. Here is the conclusion they determined:
The existing scientific evidences challenge the safety and efficacy of wearing facemask as preventive intervention for COVID-19. The data suggest that both medical and non-medical facemasks are ineffective to block human-to-human transmission of viral and infectious disease such SARS-CoV-2 and COVID-19, supporting against the usage of facemasks. Wearing facemasks has been demonstrated to have substantial adverse physiological and psychological effects. These include hypoxia, hypercapnia, shortness of breath, increased acidity and toxicity, activation of fear and stress response, rise in stress hormones, immunosuppression, fatigue, headaches, decline in cognitive performance, predisposition for viral and infectious illnesses, chronic stress, anxiety and depression. Long-term consequences of wearing facemask can cause health deterioration, developing and progression of chronic diseases and premature death. Governments, policy makers and health organizations should utilize prosper and scientific evidence-based approach with respect to wearing facemasks, when the latter is considered as preventive intervention for public health.

We should not have to make a case why we should be free, we are free people, this is like trying to prove ones innocence to a jury , THEY have to make the case to us as to why we must wear muzzles and ever then the choice is ours.

None of which will ever matter to the mask maniacs who insist on cherry-picking the “science” that supports their predetermined agenda.

Dale, you are correct.
#EndMaskurbation needs to be a thing.
What’s worse is that the VA has denied me treatment for not masking. That is fraud, and yet the entire org is fully on board with this BS because they’re all afraid of losing their jobs.
Their hiring practices need to be changed. They’re all cowards.
#HerdStupidity achieved.

Firstly, it is a truly sad day when America’s Veterans are denied treatment period. No further statement needs added on that point.
Secondly, the care that American Veterans do receive is sub-par and woefully underfunded and bureaucratically delayed/denied.
This is how a government funded medical practice works, and the socialist idiots want to join it? Maybe we just need to sign them up for year of VA medical care and see how it all works out for them.

I’d certainly get behind that plan, Dale. These petty tyrants know they will never experience the degradation and denial they want to force upon those beneath them.

Just like their behavior during this made-up pandemic – they haven’t suffered anything – no lost job, paycheck, separation from family, vacation, entertainment, education, etc etc that they so piously insist and shame some of us into accepting. They are Marie Antoinette clones who should meet exactly the same fate that she did.

Dale, YEP…!!
It literally took the VA FOUR YEARS to issue me an ID CARD.
And during those first four years, I had a different physician every time I went in for an appointment.
None of those doctors were even born in the US and were hardly intelligible in their use of English.
Seriously questionable hiring practices.
At this point, I’m 2 years overdue for my semiannual cancer screening. It takes months to schedule a phone now.
The VA… Giving veterans yet another chance to die for their country.

Sad but very true, Veteran’s have clearly served their purpose for the “Country”. Now they no longer matter and are instead a drain to the “Country”. This is exactly the same reason that several of the “States” (New York) placed COVID positive persons into “State” retirement homes. This was only done because these, citizens, are no longer performing a service(paying taxes), but are instead a drain to their “Country”. “Animal Farm” reference is very apt, just think of the Horse as it was retired to the pasture (glue factory) after many years of hard work. Yeah, Americans need to understand the socialist system is designed to be this heartless and “pragmatic”. If Americans aren’t being an active contributing member of the “Country”, then they must be removed for the betterment of the “Country”.
Now none of this is publicly stated, but what other reason would the US take such poor care of its Veteran’s, and/or why would they place COVID positive patients into elderly care facilities, the most vulnerable populations in the entire country?

Short answer is….
They want them dead so that they can raid their pension/retirement funds.
Oh, the medical CPI thing? It’s currently at 524.7 (literally double the average for all items), but come’on man… look over there…!!!
Because fixing the currency is out of the question.
Say hello to the impending hyperinflation.
#MedicalTyranny

The real question should be, “How many of the Jan 6th rioters are getting the same treatment?” Or is this an example of disproportionate application of the law? How many of the Jan 6th “rioters” are still being held in jail? Didn’t the other rioters in cities like Portland get released almost immediately? Don’t get me wrong, I fully support the application of the laws, but they should be applied blindly (this means without any prejudice) and equally without concern for which side of the argument the violator was representing. Application of the law should be one instance where race, sex, age, religion, political opinions, etc.. have absolutely no bearing for or against the accused. You know that simple idea of accountability and justice for all…..

About the Great Soap Dispenser Wokeness, Adam Carolla has a video out on Prager U talking about White Privilege. He says that about the only privilege a person of Un-color has is that they don’t automatically assume when someone is a jerk to them or something doesn’t work right that it’s because of the color of their skin and racism. They know it’s because the other person is just a jerk, or the equipment or whatever just doesn’t work the way it’s supposed to. It’s the privilege of not being able to blame your problems on the outside covering you were born with, and instead have the opportunity to learn to deal with circumstances and solve problems and get on with it.

How about this, the state isn’t the only body that can deputize, There are more of us than there are of them, so many that the overburdened agencies couldn’t handle us as a case load either.

Scott is a nice guy who looks out for others, cares about others, is tolerant of others even when they are infringing on his ability to live his life as he sees fit. I find it extremely unlikely that Scott would wear a mask if that “rule” were not in place because I also believe he is intelligent and uses common sense. But is he a “dangerous” man?

Being nice, caring and tolerant are great qualities to have, but they become a hinderance when people who do not have them run roughshod over those who do.

Overbearing federal and local governments seized the opportunity covid gave them and having tasted blood, will have to be forced to give up the taste for it.

I do not comply with mask mandates – they aren’t laws and I don’t particularly care if people are afraid of me – I hope they are. If they are, THEY are the ones who need to cower inside their homes, slavishly obeying unlawful dictates.

According to an interview with one of the parents present at the Vail school board meeting, their impromptu election was held because they were reliably informed that school board members who had fled had resigned.

Despite the dispute, the school board is now on notice that parents are not going to give up. According to the school board’s website, they held a “virtual” meeting on May 5th. I haven’t seen any follow-up news about what happened at the meeting (nothing, probably, since by design it was “virtual”) but this story shows the way forward. Do not give up! We are the Kraken, and we have to take over at the local and state levels to fix things.

I think what they can’t handle is the rioters are the Democrat voter base. And in many cases the children of local Party bosses and fundraisers.

THAT … the Arizona school board meeting … THAT … is the way out. That’s how this sh*t stops. When enough people are fed up enough to stand up in numbers to take it back.

I have said for years that there is great power in numbers, and that incident is definite proof of it.

Motion sensors sense motion the in infrared range, which will sense a cat or a horse or whatever warm blooded animal, regardless of color.

They know that! They just think everyone else is so stupid they will believe the nonsense they are spouting. And if they don’t know that…put them somewhere they won’t cause harm to themselves or others – they’ll have plenty of company.

You’d think a college-aged adult would know that what they’re shrieking about is nonsense, but I’m not so sure. I have several grandkids who are that age, and though they are all highly intelligent, they are also very naïve. It’s an amazing thing, that people who spend their lives immersed in the internet and all the so-called sophisticated thinking and current knowledge out there are also so incapable of critical thought. Or the curiosity or even normal skepticism that comes at that age that makes people want to double check what they’re being told. My husband and I sit amazed, and these are not Lefty kids, they are like their parents (our kids), and are all pretty much Center Right in their politics. But memes and narratives rule in their world, and they get little to no exposure to any information that isn’t being heavily filtered by the gatekeepers. When we talk with them we are careful to offer an alternative viewpoint and suggest resources to show them there’s an alternate universe out there, known as The Truth. Because they’re our grandkids, they actually listen.

And these types of devices have a timing mechanism to prevent young people or unruly types from constantly waving their hands and having all the soap flow out. So you could easily do the demo in reverse. Dark hands first, soap. Lighter hands second, no soap.

so where do we go from here? desantis has little chance against the cheating, stealing lying monolith, the GOPe has infested the right like locusts across an oklahoma prairie and the elephant in the room (inflation) is about take to down the market and the economy….not to even mention china/kiribati issues.

guess i’ll go golfing.

Sustainability ….. is using soy based inks on the turbo-charged money printing machines. Sustain the inks, not the value of money (unfortunately)

On the first story, I understand that the claim of a lack of prosecutors to deal with all the peaceful rioters – sorry, protesters – is a cover story for a constant state of restlessness and warfare. But hasn’t Coastlandia always been at war with Rubelandia (aka Flyovercountria)? I am sure it has. My teenage kids can’t remember a time when it wasn’t. If the school history books don’t confirm this as true yet, they will soon enough.

We haven’t been a united country for a very long time, with the coasts bullying and lording over those of us they deem unworthy of being anything other than their tax slaves. There will come a time….

You hit on the very same point which caused the Civil War in the US. The North (Industrialized, centralized, urbanized population) was trying to force the South (rural, decentralized, farm production population) to pay more and disproportionate taxes.
(Caveat: Yes, slavery was a sad, horrible fact of the South’s production capabilities. However, the Civil war was not about the slavery issue. It was about individual State’s rights to not be burdened with other State’s policy causing debts. This, slavery topic, would be used later to further destabilize the South.)
It was about the South’s refusing to keep funding the North’s policies that heavily benefited them. Think of the same reasoning behind the original Revolutionary War that created the US to begin with.
Much like the system we have now with the Coasts policies and laws excessively taxing the Interiors for policies that only pay for their unsustainable urban systems.

The Civil War was caused when states which seceded from the Union before Lincoln was even inaugurated, opened fire on a Federal installation.

You can dissemble about what led the secessionists to fire on the Federal installation, but there was no Civil War until they did.

I wish that simple, enduring fact would be kept in mind when debating the causes of a conflict well over a hundred fifty years ago. If you want to talk about why the secessionists seceded, (and you ignore their articles of secession), then you can bring up whatever ex post facto justifications you wish. But the War began because Pierre Gustav Toutant Beauregard ordered a battery sergeant named Farley to fire on Fort Sumter.

Well I stand corrected, thank you.
This is a prefect example of indoctrination becoming fact even though the facts disagree. Actually finding the Articles of Succession for multiple states was ridiculously complicated. The “history” as I understood it was likely poured through a filter to establish the narrative of taxation and not slavery issues (PC culture even then). This was likely an accepted narrative to help bring the Nation back together in the easiest way possible, without the undue antagonistic non-productive retaliatory actions. President Lincoln showed this belief and political understanding following the wars end.
The overall information on the reason for the successions was the lack of support for continued slavery practices and laws in the South. The northern states had court rulings stating the slavery laws from other states were not enforceable in their states. i.e. The laws stating that run away slaves had to be returned. This and other pressures were the prevailing statements for the successions and subsequent conflict. The “outlawing” of slaver was on its way and South saw the writing on the wall. They literally tried to get out while the getting was still good.
Well its always a good day when you learn something new, or find out the truth about lies you didn’t even know where lies. Think about how hard it must be for the Leftist drones to acknowledge the lies they are told….

The reason for the cause of the Civil War has been used to advance many political opinions but it was never solely about ending slavery. I’m not a Civil War scholar by any stretch, but I’ve seen arguments for both yours and Tim’s positions – they are both correct as far as they go and as related to the particular bias being discussed. My ignorance on this subject may prompt those of you much more knowledgeable on the subject to school me. Go ahead. There’s plenty I don’t know.

I agree it is likely more a conglomeration of many things that attributed to the conflict. It was just my original flawed understanding of the tax concerns being the primary cause while undermining the facts that most of the South’s statements and complaints where about the ongoing concerns regarding their continued slavery workforce and its support.
The Right might have issues with Leftists taxes, but what really starts talk of fighting back is when they want to take our freedoms/rights away.

In addition, we are beginning to realize that the people we have been sending into battle on our behalf, the Bushes, Ryan, Boehner, Hastert ,McCain ,Romney on and on had no intention of doing so, we have been wasting our votes for decades while the Democrats marched on relentlessly.
