While I would like to believe that the country is moving further to the right, Jay Leno is still hosting a fundraiser for Biden. I thought he was supposed to be one of the saner personalities in Hollywood. I wish I could be as confident that the country hasn’t gone completely insane.
I first heard that as “reality comic”.
Bill said, “Transgender bathrooms are a relatively low-level problem for a civilization. If the civilization is in real trouble, these things don’t become so prominent.”
Not well put. Transgender bathrooms are a SYMPTOM of the problem. Our civilization IS in real trouble BECAUSE OF the symptom of transgender bathrooms. Actually, the entire alphabet soup of sexual deviancy is a HIGH-LEVEL symptom of a civilization in peril. I use the word “deviancy” because “that’s the way it is.” It violates nature and nature’s God. The normalization of these behaviors has permeated our nation for generations and as Robert Bork wrote in his book, America is still slouching towards Gomorrah.
A NARAL poster reads “Abortion Is A Human Right”. This is the cornerstone of the DNC platform. This is THE issue that will compel everyone in the “party of evil” to vote the party line. God’s strong delusion is their reality comet.
I’ll say it again: the reckoning will not be denied!
I think that all the moves towards normalization of sexual deviancy are moves to declare pedophilia a normal lifestyle that does no harm to children. Lord help us all

I think I posted in the member blog about it a couple weeks ago. I found those shows on the site and tried to send it to my aunt and uncle in NYC. They are behind the paywall.
Scott – any chance of unlocking those old shows so that we can share them?
Also, these two shows were great. I much prefer the BIYTC version.
Civil disobedience must become the new normal in spite of the public shaming attempts propagated by the politically-correct culture that has evolved in my lifetime.
As I have said many times, reality is what it is and isn’t what it isn’t. Wishes, tantrums, riots, and insistence that it is what it isn’t will eventually fail. To be at war with reality will always fail. It is a war that cannot be won.
However, there are those who pretend that they can win if they sacrifice enough other humans to their unholy cause. Mountains of bodies later, their real motivation becomes clear. It was always a pathological substitution of death and destruction for life and building. They cannot and will not create those values necessary to sustain life and resent the necessity of doing so. As such, they seek only death, including their own. Reality delivers on schedule.
Our challenge is not to become collateral damage on their way out.
In short, buy more bullets. LOL
Unfortunately, it’s not a laughing matter, so I won’t LOL.
Initially, that would be a very satisfying thing to do. Even including the early use of bullets. In the long run, I am not so sure. See nearly every bloody revolution of the past for instructive examples. Very few of them developed into something better than the situation that was used to justify the initial action.
I recommend some form of “Going Galt” as an alternative. It could be more effective than all out war. Largely because you would be taking yourself out of the picture and allowing the full force of reality to do its thing.
At 83, I have no chance of surviving the bloody revolution path and have very little chance to survive “Going Galt”. Hence, I am rather limited in my choices. That choice has been and still is to live the best I can for as long as I can. Do as much good for my self and others I care about as I can. Then, in the end, have no regrets.
I would Go Galt if I could find the gulch.
I suggest you have to find Galt’s Gulch inside yourself. It is not a place. It is a state of being. Do not offer them your sanction (don’t be a victim) nor your excess produce.
I agree, Lionell, that it’s a state of mind. I will NOT give my sanction, but they’ve been taking what I produce at the point of a gun for many years. And that’s life. Atlas Shrugged shows what a perfect world could be. But I love the world I live in, too
Yes, the taking presents difficulties.
Path to a solution:
They need you far more than you need them. In fact, you can do quite well without them. They can’t do anything without being able to take from you. Then they waste what they take and expect you to make even more so they can take it as well. They are not even successful parasites.
Simply produce no excess! Let them starve and see it as simple justice. I agree that it is a tough path to follow but if they take nearly everything you produce and make it difficult to impossible for you to be productive, how is that situation better?
All true my friend. Pathological, most certainly diseased minds, and so very dangerous to the human race in general, and in our case, our country in particular.
