Post election violence – who and why

I suggest that, no matter who is elected, there will be violence after the election, but the constellation of justifications from those who undertake the violence will be different in a few ways. In all scenarios the aggressors will be collectivists/socialists of some type, regardless of what they choose to call themselves.

Scenario 1. – Big Dem win – house, senate and presidency.

We will see targeted violence against Trump supporters. The pressure head of hate built up in the left will see the Pro-democrat vote as a vindication of their beliefs, that they are right to HATE liberty minded people and they will take the vote as permission to seek retribution (often violent) on their political opponents.   Expect to see widespread general violence with specific individuals targeted for malicious prosecutions and also a large number of targeted murders of Trump supporters by individuals and small groups.

Scenario 2. Small Dem Win but still with house senate and presidency

Less targeted violence as fewer people will feel the vote grants them moral license to act out their fantasies of hurting those with whom they disagree.  There will also be less general violence initially as they will feel they have won. – the general violence will return as they see their demands are not being met – the violence will be much worse than it is now.

Scenario 3. Massive Trump win – This will be the most peaceful outcome as many of those who would be inclined to violence will not find moral license in the outcome of the election – they will know the people oppose them.  They will still be vocal and hateful, with some smaller riots, but the big problem will be democrat prosecutors and judges doing everything they can to undermine the country.

Scenario 4. Small Trump Win …. it will be as it is now, just less frequent and lesser in scale.   A post election tantrum will settle in to outbursts which will fade out over the course of a few months.   Depending on what is done with social media, the violence may return for the midterms and the next presidential election.

A sad reflection of the reality of our time, but the rise of socialism in universities and social media creating extremist echo chambers has radicalized a generation to hate those who do not submit to their demands.  The universities need to be defunded and social media prevented from banning legal speech.

I’m convinced that scenario# 3 is what we’re going to get. I agree that the violence and rioting will be less widespread, but it will be fear of federal prosecution and the national guard and the local police doing their jobs that will scare off the real cowards. As for the rest, some say nothing short of revolution is enough! Well ,come on then, lets see how americans really feel about you un-employed,live at home with your parents,non-gender binary, tree- hugging, soft-headed clowns do against the rest of america! TRUMP2020.

Sadly, and I mean that sincerely, there is the distinct possibility that we may never see a truly peaceful transition of power again in our lifetimes. But …

These things are notoriously difficult to predict. If Rand Paul and such are correct and violence is being organized clandestinely on a national scale, then it may be possible to short circuit the process of increasing violence by identifying and arresting the ringleaders. Which would also be a huge propaganda coup because we will be able to show that the far left that has seized the Democrat Party is actually an enemy of peace and a true foe. Then we will be using The Rule of Law against a known and identifiable enemy of the Republic.

That is the most optimistic and positive of outcomes because it would force the Democrat Party to purge the truly radical elements from its ranks and put them back on the lunatic fringe where they belong. Much in the same way that Conservatives (I’d say “Republicans” but I’m not one) have relegated truly toxic ideologies such as White Supremacy to the rubbish heap by denying those people traction on the Right.

Not one can fix the Democrat Party but Democrats and it appears they’re not going to do that until forced to. Patriotism, love of country, respect for the baseline laws of this nation, sound reasoning and simple common sense no longer carry sufficient weight to pull them back to a reasonable position. They are now in a condition of “total war” where anything goes and until that fails them completely, if it ever does, they’re not going to come back down to planet Earth.

If the Democrat Party, of which many members are more “old school Roosevelt type Democrats” than radical foes of the Republic, cannot gain control of their radically oriented elements then we’re in for a rough ride as a nation.

(Note: I’m not saying FDR was good, or even reasonable as his doctrines were foundational to the decay of the Democratic Party but … My Grandpa, whom I greatly admired and do to this day, was a Roosevelt Democrat. I have no doubt that he is spinning like a turbine engine in his grave over the ridiculous and radical policies that have emerged in the Democrat Party since he died.)
