I would love to hear what and why were my fellow members’s favorite or most significant moments from the SOTU.
For me, it was definitely Rush. Not sure how they managed to keep it a surprise because it was reported in the media beforehand. But wow. The look on his face will stay with me a long time.
Also, I loved how President Trump has out-storied the Democrats. Finally we have a Republican who really understands how to use narrative and television (see Bill’s videos about how Democrats are historically so good at this from before 2016).

My thoughts.., Definitely Rush, was a moment in History, to be seen and enjoyed, to a well deserved individual..Priceless.. , The story of the Tusgisgee airman, his life’s accomplishments and being 100 years old..Bravo..and his great Grandson beside him.. , but the Widow and her 13 yr old son, being singled out.., their tragedy being laid out for all to see and hear, how Soleimani was the one responsible for her husbands death.., to see the tearful widow, be embraced and comforted by the 13 yr old young man.., was indeed a special moment.., and finally, to Acknowledge all of the Great American Heroes .., Starting with George Washington..and going down the list.., and to capture the moment of Texas history and Davy Crockett at the Alamo…. In my opinion, this IS what makes America…America..
Definitely the Rush moment – I teared up. Rush is such a huge part of my life and no one deserves that honor more then he. Of course, you all are a close second. 🙂
