I recently watched a prescreening of the upcoming movie, The Matter of Life. It will have a limited run in Regal Theaters May 16 & 17.

It is a powerful, well presented look at the issue of abortion, what abortion is, how we got to this point in our country and how many, many faith-filled people are coming together to make abortion an unthinkable option by providing help, hope and love to women and their babies.
The distributors of the film considered not moving forward with the theater launch because presales for tickets were so weak. And then, the Roe leak happened last week. God works in mysterious ways and this leak has thrust the issus of abortion into public square in a powerful way.
I encourage everyone who is pro-life to see this movie, take your friends, take your pastor, take anyone you know who says, “What can I do to help make abortion unthinkable to a woman?”
As a leader of a 40 Days for Life vigil in Washington state, I know that many women don’t want abortions. They want help for them (and their babies), they just don’t always know there is help available before they buy the lie that an abortion is the best solution.
Women deserve better than abortion.
Please, get involved with your local pregnancy center, help start a support group for moms (and dads) in your church, participate in a local 40 Days for Life vigil.

At its core, abortion is not a politicial issue, it is human one.
