This is a ‘be careful what you say’ notice. We all have grievances that we feel, even know, are legitimate. You can list out all the issues you want, in private, not in public. We should know by now that any aspiring FBI agent that does not share our opinion will report to the agency that you, and we, are the bad actors. Be cautious about publishing anything that reads like a manifesto or similar document. You may want to air-gap these writings, look that up.
If you are going to retain any of these documents, share them with trusted persons. Sure, I’m new here as of last month. Already, I’ve been asked to coordinate campaigns because I posted how to campaign. If you really want to campaign, I will help you develop yours. You need to understand the importance of a public persona that doesn’t attract the wrong attention. It is way too easy to sound off on all the grievances, and then the left goes screeching howler monkey. Do that, and any substance you have is meaningless.

This is absolutely correct, as is what ACTS commented. I have published a document on this site that makes me a traitor in the eyes of people like Nancy Pelosi and her minions. There could be prison or worse in my future even though any rational assessment of my words proves they’re harmless to all peaceful and/or rational people. For tyrants and their enablers, all I threaten is their illegitimate power.
For myself, I don’t care. But that is also true for anyone who has joined me. Be careful what you say, where you say it, and to whom. If you don’t want to openly declare yourself for our cause, there’s no shame in that. Stay covert and do what you can in your own way.
This is wisdom. It’s not that people shouldn’t speak their minds, but they should be careful what manner they choose. I.E. if you see someone spark a Bic lighter in a crowded public theater, don’t yell “FIRE!!!” at the top of your lungs.
As far as I can see every right thinking conservative has things to be legitimately upset about right now. Be careful that you don’t say something while you’re upset that you may regret later.
Just because we’re on BW.com doesn’t mean anyone, including this website and the owner/operators, are immune. The site has to have a registered domain name, content delivery network (CDN) etc. in order to function. Those things being necessary are also a vector for attack because if those are pulled all of a sudden POOF! — No billwhittle.com. Don’t be the person who gives the bad guys an excuse to use that weapon. If Parler can be de-platformed and the President of the United States banned from Twitter, taking down billwhittle.com is relative childsplay.
Don’t be lulled into a false sense of security just because this is a website committed to and for conservative thought and opinions. There is no privacy here, no more than anywhere else on the internet. Consider the fact that there are people who are either here now, or will be here in the next few years, who want to misconstrue what you say as a means to justify destroying your ability to say it.
This does not mean we should be cowardly or unduly paranoid. That’s not what I’m saying at all. I’m just pointing out things that some members may not have considered or are not aware of. Just remember that “the internet is forever”.
