In a Firewall segment several years back, Bill talked about “the wagon.” That everyone in America was moving in one direction, and those who couldn’t pull their own weight (the sick and elderly) climbed in a wagon and the rest of us pulled them along. At the time he was using this to discuss gaming the system, that those lying about disability or coasting on welfare were climbing in the wagon and expecting the rest of us to pull them. Bill’s conclusion was that eventually the only ones still pulling the wagon were going to be chumps, because everyone else will have climbed in (until Atlas Shrugs).
The Progressives are accelerating this process. By convincing segments of the country that they are perpetual victims of system racism and white oppression, they are convincing these folks that they can never succeed, so just climb in the wagon. Meanwhile, they expect the producers to continue pulling. How long before this system explodes?
