Wonderful, necessary discussion, fellas. These two ghoulish freaks, though, are not what bothers me most. It is the “normalization” of abortion itself, where a perfectly reasonable, kind good woman would automatically accept that, even if she would not do this, that other women should have the right to do it.

When Bill gave the content warning, I was bracing for something truly that would make me wanna vomit, but compared to some of the things I’ve seen on the internet, this is actually quite benign. It wasn’t that they showed the thing they’re talking about in all its gory detail – that would be shocking, though still not the worst thing I’ve ever seen – but you are feeling sick about them merely talking about it (and possibly not even wholly seriously, either)?
If that’s the case, I’d definitely suggest you avoid going down that rabbit hole. When the podcaster mentioned looking stuff up on the Dark Web, she wasn’t kidding. There are some truly evil and disgusting things on there, or on LiveLeak or a number of other outlets that are far worse.
Not saying this is good, just highlighting the bigger picture.
Knowing that there are worse things on the internet doesn’t make those two any less disturbing.

No. We haven’t ‘reached it’ because we never left it. This is just the latest form of an ancient fault in humanity. The chief issue here is not that this is some new stoop towards the lowest low of human nature. That’s not new. What’s new is that these sorts of people have found a voice with which they can reach others equally depraved and despicable. What’s new is not that they exist, they’ve always existed. What’s new is that they dare speak out their despicableness in public and are not challenged to any significant degree for doing so. What’s new is that sufficient numbers of Americans have gotten to a point where this is “just one more point of view”.
It’s important to realize that and keep things in their proper perspective. Every ‘new’ outrage on the Left isn’t really new at all. It’s the same old outrage that has just found a more contemporary outlet. The Roman Emperor Caligula is said to have found arousal for himself and his ‘guests’ in carving babies out of living women.
There are always bad people, there is always evil in the world and in the human heart. Sometimes it’s obvious, like abortion porn and baby carving, sometimes Lucifer presents himself as an angel of light goading you to do things unsound and unwise. Lucifer loves rage, any rage will do. It feeds his cause and he doesn’t need to be picky about the flavor of rage. To him it all tastes great.
Rage and outrage are not the same thing. Rage is mindless intense anger and works in favor of the enemy. Outrage is mindful anger aroused by an offense or injustice. Be careful which one describes you.
That doesn’t mean we shouldn’t be repulsed by this sort of ghastly behavior. It means it’s vital to both recognize it for what it is and recognize your reaction for what that is too. Because if you fail to do that then you are in danger of condoning outrageous behavior as long as it’s in the name of something you support.
That’s exactly what these two fiends are doing in this video. They are enraged by the overturning of Roe v. Wade and seem to think that turning up the heat towards something even more despicable will get them what they want. It won’t. It will get them their destruction if they do not repent. It is unlikely but not impossible someone like this is ever going to repent. They have killed the part of their own conscience that would call them to repentance as surely as they have killed or would kill their own children.
You can do that too, you can fuel your own rage and you’ll think it every bit as righteous and meritorious as these two demonic harpies believe their rage is. Don’t fool yourself that you’re not vulnerable to that kind of thing. It happened in Nazi Germany and it can happen here too.
Prayer, careful thought and vigilance are what stands between you and that kind of horror. Don’t fuel rage and don’t ignore outrage.

I think these women have successfully repressed that feeling. Pray for them.

According to their “internal morality,” this is OK, and anyone who self-defines their morality has no grounds to object. This is why the founders and society largely agreed on Christianity as an external moral standard even though they allowed the atheism and Islam which allow the tyranny they just fought to escape.
What these two young women have said in this video is so repulsive to me. I hope our culture will survive this onslaught of “slime” talk. Their lack of a moral compass is so evident. Surely, there are women in their age bracket who can verbally “slap some sense into them” regarding their lack of self worth for themselves and the protection of our babies. Look, 50 years ago I was pro-abortion because I didn’t want an innocent child to be born by a woman who didn’t want it. My imagination was fertile with all the ways that child’s life could be ruined or erased through neglect and bad judgement on the part of the woman who would consider the act of murdering her unborn child. My opinion was shallow and ill-thought out, but at least it was rooted in concern for the child. Fortunately I wised up and for over 45 years I’ve been pro-life, both for the sake of the child and the mother and father.
I am sickened and despondent that our culture has sunk to such depths as seen in that video.
