Right after the capital “riot”, Nancy Pelosi installed metal detectors in the entrance to chambers that everyone had to pass thru or get fined $5000. Several GOP members balked at this and bypassed them resulting in fines. Today Pelosi did the same thing and Dan Crenshaw called her out on it, saying she should also pay a fine. You can imagine what happened at that point. Again it’s the double standard. Crenshaw should put this up for a vote, don’t you think?

When the two Republicans refuse to pay the fine, is Pelosi going to send the new sergeant at arms after them?
Well, seeing as the SAA has stated that he won’t act on ‘merely’ the complaint of a sitting Member of Congress, but needs a formal complaint affidavit from the Capitol Police, I’m thinking, No.
I believe the technical term for making pronouncements that won’t be enforced is “pathetic.”
