This is a report on Buchenwald Concentration Camp written by my grandfather, Abe Trop. I don’t know when this version of the report was written, but the original was written two weeks after the liberation of the camp.
Here he is (on the left) with Bill Geddes, shortly before D-Day. They both survived, and my grandfather later became a high school history teacher.

Wow, that is a powerful document. He really describes what he was seeing very well. Walking around in all the powder with the occasional bones and smells and understanding how many prisoners were “processed” there would be a whole different level of horrifying.
