Its clear that Zelenskyy has, in three years, prepared the country well. Airfields full of decoy planes. Fake radars that draw anti-radar weapons. We see Ukrainians in well made bunkers cheering drone strikes. They have to be close to the front. The Ukrainians are mobile in the mud while the Russians are stuck on roads like the Germans and the French.

CNN has been hemorrhaging technicians to the newer media companies some of whom are very pro-Trump. So the color splotches on the old fake president may be because some new trainee does not know what button he bumped.

I tried to watch this on Rumble, but their bandwidth was so poor it stopped playing for 2-3 seconds every 5 seconds. Does anyone else have this problem? I have fiber optic bandwidth at my end and it plays well on the Billwhittle.com site.

I call Ms Psaki “Peppermint Patty”, mostly because she is always stating as fact something that she cannot explain, or truly believes. Speaking of Bezos eny can make you crazy. He is using his $$ to halt anyone from doing what he can’t.

Putin thought he was going up against a comedian. What he did not realize was that Ukraine may have elected a comedian as a leader but that comedian stepped up to be the leader that Ukraine needed. The comedian is now the leader and the leader (russia) is now the comedian.

Russia (as with so many nations) is facing a demographic disaster. A huge percentage of the Russian Army is muslim (which Putin probably sees as a problem- as he should). I suspect that Putin sees conquest of non-muslim populations as a way of staving off the demise of “Mother Russia.”

Just some food for thought here about a way to drive some membership this way …

The guys were talking about the crap that shows up in the comment section on YouTube and Scott mentioned in passing “that’s not how it goes on the website, it’s much better there” … or words to that effect.

There are two main reasons I’m here as a paying member. I didn’t want to keep missing these backstage episodes and I hate talking to the boneheads on YouTube.

The reason I even knew about these backstage episodes is you mentioned/referred to them on the videos that air on YouTube.

You might consider doing the same, more often and more pointedly, about the comment forum, blog posts etc. here on the site.

I think there are more people out there like me that want to discuss the topics you talk about and would come here if it were pointed out how much better this is than the YouTube environment.

I know Scott et. al. already mention the “cesspool of social media” but it wouldn’t hurt to work in how much better things here actually are.

It’s your site, do as you see fit. This is just something that occurred to me as I watched this episode.

Those in charge of the global finance system need an excuse to collapse the US and the Dollar. Enter this Ukrainian conflict. Following these people, one learns to believe the opposite of what they are claiming. I saw a video of David Icke from 2014 explaining this conflict would arise as a proxy war to usher in the reset of the Global currency. I say get silver or barter goods. We might all be bartering again after they inflate away our wealth, if we have any. My Polish neighbors sold their house and moved back to Poland last year. They knew that the times are changing.

Steve has a ton of cool coffee cups and they’re not always filled with coffee. If you’re going to covet Steve’s cool cups, you’re going to end up doing a lot of coveting.

I think Marry Me was the movie I read about that was based on a web comic, which I actually read a number of years ago. (Found it http://marryme.keenspot.com/)

Bill’s “new” topic gave me deja vu that someone talked about something like that… maybe on Insta, about how the dreadnaught was the superior ship until air power completely negated it. History has many times had a paramount defense overcome by technology that rendered it obsolete until the “next new thing”. Tomorrow’s might be developed by Elon Musk.
“Shush, John Kerry!” lol
Bill’s second bit sounds like the scene from the second Adams Family movie, where they “torture” Wednesday with Disney movies (iirc).

For CNN, I would dial the hysteria down instead of up, keep things almost vanilla and on an even keel so that people would be far more tempted to keep the show on in the background all day and use the repetition to sell ads. Go with the hard news ideas still, and do some long talking on bigger topics, but also plug a whole bunch of things with 30 second or so ledes that have full stories on the web site.

Gentlemen, what has struck me about the Russia-Ukraine conflict has been the attitude of the Ukrainians. First, the government not allowing men of fighting age/ability to leave, and second, men returning to Ukraine to fight.
Compare that to any conflict in the Middle East (or Afghanistan), where all you see are men aged 18-30 trying to get out (frequently ahead of the women and children) rather than fighting for their country.

Yeah, I got a serious chuckle over the trans guy who was whining that the Ukrainians wouldn’t allow him to count as a woman and run away from the fight. He was honked off that they wouldn’t mark his passport as him being a female and so treat him “like the woman he really is”.

It was like …

“You have to respect my identity, I’m really a woman. I look like a woman and I sound like a woman so the women and children first thing applies to me too.”

“Yeah, no, your passport and birth certificate say you’re male. Here’s your rifle, shut up and fall in line with the other recruits.”

Great close to the show! Of all of the things I’ve been called in my life I never thought I’d ever 1) be called lubrication and 2) it be intended as a compliment!

You have my sympathy on the back pain and my agreement on this being the highlight of my day on Wednesday .

No one loves The Blues Brothers more than I. In my first band, I played Elwood, and saw the real ones in Philadelphia at the Mann Music Center. Nevertheless, I had never even thought of TBBM as a musical. Funny. Good call.

I haven’t listened to Jim Rome’s radio show in ages, but I always got a kick out of how whenever there was even a hint that a female athlete being discussed was a lesbian, the next email Jim would read on the air from one of The Clones (his fans) would always start, “Dear Sir,”

I always call her Raggedy Jen but I like yours better and will start using that too.
