Right Angle: Backstage (08-10-2021)

With Bill Whittle in the YouTube doghouse for several more days, we’re hosting this Backstage episode at Rumble…Bill has a clever plan of retaliation.

Zo Rachel joins Bill Whittle and Scott Ott this week to talk behind Steve Green’s back, since the latter has gallivanted off to parts unknown. If you’re not a Member, and yet you can see this video, we’re hoping you might not, nevertheless, be discouraged from joining.

it was Andy Williams who sang “Moon River” and not Perry Como if my memory serves me right. I was a big fan of Andy Williams as a teen. He did all the good love songs to get the girls in the mood for affection more than did the Beatles or other groups. In my humble opinion, that is.

I edit an anti-totalitarian page on FB called The Broken Mirror. We have been warned in the past and recently were once again threatened with depublication and told our page would not be recommended. They didn’t actually tell us which of our posts offended community standards.

I have been self-censoring as censorship works. But the key is to make it so we don’t know what to censor and will just be silenced.

Good morning gentlemen. I have been trying to become a member for several days but the interweb slime has had your site impaired. Glad I finally got through and am looking forward to listening to the full range of your talents!

When I tried to log into the show I was told the page could not be found! I finally get in by logging in as a member, I assumed that You Tube was trying to block you. Thank you again for keeping me informed and sane during these trying times.

Being an American male, the feeling of impotence that I experienced while looking for y’all on line last week is a novel one. Being, admittedly, not cutting-edge tech savvy, the frustration of being told ways to bypass our internet overlords and realizing I’ll have to ask my wife …..
But I’ll get there, along with all of the rest of us. Anything to get your content. Thanks for persevering.

The whole idea of having a queer guy for the president guy is predicated on the idea that there are millions of LGBTQ people out there that vote. Australia dropped the other gender alphabet soup on this years census because when they included umpteen genders in the previous census 2016 only 1260 people used it. So now this week its male and female and the LGBT people are screaming all over the left media. If the US per capita numbers are about the same as Australia the USA probably only has 15120 actual LGBTQ people. They make a lot of noise though.

what a clever way to get them to out their full numbers. So, ok lots of people do like the binary choice, here you go. What, only 0.005% needed it. Ok, we won’t include going forward. Well played.

Sex changes are extinction as a policy position. The population fanatics see it as a way to reduce population without actually shooting anyone, or more likely getting shot in the attempt. It will all come unstuck when some eunuch realizes he was tricked and owns a gun.

Just read that AU went full retard again and locking down whole Canberra for a week because they discovered a single case. Probably this should get into one of the segments.

Its worse than that the one case may be vaccinated with the dud Chinese vaccine that we already knew about. They are very careful to not say who it is.

Okay. Somebody tell me if Cuomo actually said, “I resign”.
I’m not sure I heard him say that…unless it was in a very round-about way.

Just as a heads up, DO NOT post a video with pictures of the twin towers, it will immediately hit you with a strike. They have a “rouge” algorithm nuking even a second of the twin towers, burning or not.

I for one, am happy we get this episode of RA Backstage on Rumble. As I’ve said before, I completely stopped watching anything on BlueTube. With over 80 million users on Rumble…why bother getting censored for speaking Truth, when we can speak freely on Rumble?

Good point. I’ve been considering going to Rumble. Now I have more reason to, and I plan to.

I like cunning plans … Especially those both tactical and strategic.

I think it’s better to link to Rumble. It’s not that I think Rumble is the Second Coming (of video posting sites and it most definitely is not). It’s that I think your archives will be safer there. But …

I think you are better served to have your own archives on local (to you) drives also. If you use Rumble as a public venue and use your own archives as a fail-safe backup then your previous work has less chance of being lost permanently.

The problem with using your website alone is you are still vulnerable to being taken down by your provider. As we saw with Twitter alternative Parler when Amazon Web Services (AWS) took them down. Fool me once, shame on you etc.

Bill’s “cunning plan” should work, at least for a while. The way Google/YouTube works regarding issuing strikes is they have an algorithm that pulls speech-to-text to get a transcript from the posted videos, parses the resultant text looking for keywords, then a human being watches the video and issues the strike.

That makes it totally arbitrary dependent upon the views of the person who issues the strike. They do it that way because millions of video uploads are too labor intensive to have an employee watch each and every video.

BTW, the result is that the person issuing the strike will use every possible interpretation of what is said. Then apply the worst possible interpretation in support of issuing the strike. Of course, that only applies to conservative oriented content.

To defeat Bill’s cunning plan all YouTube needs to do is include video linked in the description and proceed as though the video itself were uploaded to YouTube by running it across the speech-to-text etc.. That will require even more data handling capacity and also brings up even more questions on Section 230 protections so it may be a while, if ever, before they get around to doing that.

But they might and this is a war being fought with words and images in lieu of guns and bombs. So better safe than sorry.

If they had humans watching every single video, maybe those humans would learn something.
(By the way, didn’t George Bush use the phrase “Fool me once, shame on you etc.?” lol)

BILL PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD JOIN LOCALS.COM, its so much better than any other social media platform, it is a cross between Twitter, Patreon, Youtube, and Periscope. If you join locals they have a great mobile app that you do not have to make yourself, you OWN YOUR CONTENT, if you leave you can take all that content with you. I cannot oversell how much better it is. In order to comment on posts, the members have to be subscribers so there is no trolling, minimum subscriptions are 2$ a month and it is going to be the leading social media site in a short number of years, its just so much better. As for free speech, the rule is that if it doesn’t violate the first amendment its good. I have been using it for a couple months and I highly recommend it.

As others have mentioned, a lot of creators are escaping youtube gulag by transitioning to locals.com. They post G rated versions on youtube, and encourage viewers to join them on *.locals.com to see the PG or R rated version.
I will follow BW and crew no matter where they go.

Scott
Andy Williams = Moon River
Perry Como = It’s Impossible
Andrew Cuomo = I Can’t Stop Luvin’ You (Apologies to Ray Charles and all the Cuomo staffers….)

Crap, I was listening and not watching while I did some puttering. Now I’ll have to go back and watch this again just to see that.

(Actually, thanks for posting that. 🙂 )

First, Micro organisms
Then, Micro scopes
Next, Micro agressions
Now, Micro perplexions

I watched the TikTok video of hireling Benny Kooper in the Whitehouse. Biden is making the USA the laughing stock of the world. It is sickening.

Yep. He was a joke from the beginning and the whole world is indeed laughing. Too bad it’s such a bad joke.

Seriously, people, you’re starting to back up YT stuff just now? I thought everyone did that a year and a half ago latest. We come here for optimism, but that sound like an overdose of it. :-/
YT looked like scaling back a little on censorship in the last 2-3 months, but recently they catch up and double the effort.

I know the Bill Whittle team doesn’t do much with social media but it might be a good idea to start using things like Twitter more to move as many people as possible off of big tech and to new tech sites (Rumble and the like) to build up some resilience to purges and algorithmic suppression.

Great idea with the 10 second post to YT sending people to Rumble. I think I saw that in the comments here a couple weeks ago.
Nice to see Zo along. Upside of the vaccine is Steve turns into Zo, Downside for Steve is also makes you sober. Uh-Oh.

Just remember Cuomo only announced his resignation in 14 days he hasn’t left office yet. Preemptively moving to Rumble is good you might consider multiple platforms. Bill is correct the people are locked in a room while it is being burnt down and the Fire Dept isn’t allowed to put out the fire almost like California’s Forrest management works.

cuomo’s replacement can and most likely will be just as nefarious but there is no question that the country is better off without that guy. good hunting.
