Actually, Skid, if they converted to miles, they would get smaller… 80 km is 50 (-ish) miles… see, numbers get smaller. If they converted to AU, they almost would cease to exist.

A friend had a great suggestion – we should all buy the Beto “hell yes” shirt (he doesn’t have a prayer at being elected, so don’t worry), take it to the firing range and shoot a bunch of holes in it and wear it that way. Kind of an unspoken “Molon Labe” message.

Re Kavanah (sp?): this story is beginning to sound like something the teller wishes he had done when he was that age, so he tells it lasciviously now to get some vicarious pleasure.

That was interesting! Truncated is the better word for this edit version. The video was running at high speed while the audio, thankfully, was going along at normal speed. I’m not sure the effect you were going for, but I’m a little dizzy.
