Saturday Night Videos

Steve used to do Friday Night Videos over at PJM, and I’ve occasionally bugged him here in the comments, but to no avail. Then I realized we can do this ourselves. I meant to post this last night, but it’s still the weekend. For starters let’s roll with my three of  my favorite bands of all time:

First off, some Maiden:

This was from their classic album Piece of Mind, which as everyone knows is the greatest album in the history of humanity and has been thoroughly documented. 

Next up is Rush:

While not even close to being my favorite Rush song, this video is just too damned cool.  And that’s not a dis on Spirit… but a product of how great the rest of Rush’s body of work is

and of course, I have to close with some Slayer:

As campy as metal videos can be at times, I’m amazed at how well this one’s held up 30 years later.
