Say what?

It’s a terrible, wicked thing to mock an old, old man whose mind is turning to cream cheese before our very eyes. Nevertheless, it’s also tremendous FUN and, when he gives himself the title of President-Elect before the Electoral College has even sat, when he is the front man for the most wretched hive of scum and villainy this side of Mos Eisley, then it is not only fun, but a bounden duty.

I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving and broke as many petty rules and arbitrary “laws” as were necessary. You may have been having so good a time that you missed the President-Alleged’s Thanksgiving Address to the nation (is that a thing even?). If you did you will have missed a little bit of comedy gold.

He’s nearly at the end, he’s doing well, he hasn’t drooled overmuch or threatened to punch anyone. It’s time to get all sincere and churchy. Joe stumbles a little over the big, long word in “we can proclaim…”, but he gets through it. Then he sees the word on the teleprompter, there’s a pause as he visibly checks himself, like a show jumper before a big fence, you can almost hear the chipmunk working the controls in his head squeaking “WTF’s that word?”. Our breath is baited, he goes for it.

“the Palmist”

There’s another pause. Joe looks confused. The horse refuses the fence; he goes around and has another try. The chipmunk screams “Just say the (bleep) word!”

“with..the Palmist..who wrote…these following words.” Joe’s eyebrows go up in relief and triumph.

“Nailed it.” The godless chipmunk chirps and releases some dopamine into Joe’s pipes as the old fool goes on to quote a slightly abridged version of Psalm 28 Verse 7.

Meanwhile, even my cynical, sarcastic Brit mouth is hanging open. Words with silent Ps are tricky, but in a short set piece, reading off a teleprompter, to twice fail to recognise and correctly pronounce the word Psalmist? A man whose very trade is words, who claims to be a faithful son of the Church of Rome, really? C’mon man!

We are faced with the stark fact that either his mind has now so deteriorated that he was unable to recognise the word, or he is such a stranger to Scripture that didn’t recognise the word. Maybe it was a bit of both. As Steve often says, let us embrace the healing power of AND.

How and why did the team around him let the demented old s**t-weasel go out there unprepared? Surely, they run through these things an advance? Is Lady Macbeth already preparing the ground to remove him? Maybe they did spend ten minutes coaching him on the word only to watch in impotent horror as the demonic chipmunk overode their instructions. Who knows, or dares to dream?

I leave you with the video (not the whole thing, but if the suspense is too much for you jump to 2:30) and a little Shakespeare..

“The devil can cite Scripture for his purposes.”

Yeah he obviously doesn’t really go to church if he can’t pronounce Psalmist. And to say for all of us to come together after spending the last 3 1/2 years calling us deplorable‘s, racist, homophobes, Xenophobes, and everything else in the book is insulting to every conservative in the country.

It has become so obvious to the rest of us that this man is senile. All they’re trying to do is get him to the inauguration ceremony so that he can mysteriously have to resign and make “heels up harris” our commander-in-chief. Just the thought of this actually happening in this country scares the crap out of me.It also reinforces my belief that the REPUBLICANS are being led by traitors and cowards! If Trumps legal team cannot prove what is so obvious to the courts or if the court system is too scared to do the right thing, then we have truly lost our country.

What flabbergasts me is that it took more than a year for “the rest of us (them?)” to recognize the dementia. It was obvious at least a year ago that Joe was suffering from either early-staged-senility or Alzheimers. It continues to amaze me that the average person lives in such a continual state of denial of the reality that caonfronts him each day.

Sadly, far too many believe if they wish hard enough, that will make it so. The insane left of left go many steps further and totally believe if they call a thing by a name it is not, it becomes what it is not. Also, they totally believe that if they change a definition of a thing to what it is not, it also becomes what it is not. There could not be a further denial of reality than that.

Insane left of left along with too many others assume reality is optional and their whims are all powerful. The last time this was so prominent was during the dark ages in which faith , suffering, poverty, and death was maximized. THAT is exactly what “they” want to bring back without the aid of religious dogma to aid them in their quest. Their joy is your suffering!

Answer me this, Lionel, why is my suffering their joy? Are they just evil, or is there something more?

They are evil to the core. It is their philosophy that made them go astray. They believe reality is optional and can safely be ignored. They are unrecoverable.

Unrecoverable. I couldn’t agree more. I get so irritated when people say we should reach out to them. And I don’t believe there is such a thing as a “good democrat”. People who believe reality is optional are not good

And those whose believe their desires give them a claim to my labor and my life are not good.

I’m not going to pay for their lifestyle. No body gave me anything for free. Earn it if you want it. No body gets want they want all the time. They need to learn what disappointment is and learn to live with it.

If you figure out how to generally keep one’s current lifestyle while avoiding paying for others’, please enlighten the rest of us. Like many others, I have worked hard to accomplish my career and resiltant comforts of home; however, I have not figured out how to prevent my tax dollars (don’t get me started on legalized theft) from being spent on the frivolities of society’s “lazy grasshoppers“.

I was speaking in generalities, if I had specific ways of doing so, I would gladly pass them on. Some times we just need to vent. I’m retired on a fixed income with my wife still working to support us. Listening to these morally bankrupt “nut bags” tell us what the future of our country should be, and that everyone is entitled to everything they want without having to work for it or pay for it goes against everything that I was raised to believe, and how we raised our kids. Low and behold, both of our kids were out of the house or married before they were 20 years old. They both have successful marriages, own their own homes, and have kids of their own. Their families are co-owners in an I.T. company, and they are doing very well. As a parent, that’s all you can ask for. The Democrat vision of America is exactually the opposite.

I understand the “venting” … I do it often. In fact, my query was one form of venting my exasperation at having no viable solutions to this problem of over-taxation and forced-redistribution of wealth.
EDIT: In fact the forced-redistribution of wealth has gotten so far out of control that, instead of a participation medal like all other kiddies receive, our so-called “betters” have deemed the Presidency should be awarded to the most public underachiever and his whore of a running mate.

Apparently, that tactic is currently failing because those who are responsible for tallying the votes are not trustworthy. Unfortunately, those lunatics are typically not elected.

Indeed. Every time I look at Biden — and I try to avoid it — I see the same somewhat blank expression that I used to see in my late father’s eyes during the last few months of his life. Biden even seems to walk with the same sort of shuffle that Dad had. If he actually gets sworn into office, I predict that it won’t be long before we end up with a President Harris. (Oh, Lord….., not that).

I still don’t know how we got to this point in our history. A proven corrupt career politician and a political whore might take up residency in the white house. How did we let this happen?

It happened because such corruption is inevitable in the course of all human history. Now one question lies before us: what shall we do about it?

RESIST! No wait, that’s what they said about President Trump. NEVER GIVE IN! I like that better.
