Whatever you guys did to the site couple of days ago made the homepage look terrible on my ultrawide monitor. The other pages behave normally and don’t stretch out to the whole screen.

I am afraid I agree. As a developer I have learned to test changes on an isolated server before introducing them to avoid unintended consequences. Sorry, I know it is tough managing a live site.
Blog scaled the images so even opening them in their own tab doesn’t give the right impression. There are three images.
They need a test site if they’re going to play around with different widgets and templates rather than doing it on a live site.
Gwaihir, I have tested the new layout in three different browsers and various devices. Still working on mobile and tablet. The homepage is supposed to be adjustable. I can set it so that’s it’s not responsive to the width of the browser (which is the way the previous site worked). I do understand the sentence in your comment above. Sorry for any inconvenience.
I am not complaining Scott in fact I think you are doing a good job. This is however an excellent example of unintended consequences on something simpler and directly affects less people than what our Government Overlords have wrought on all of our lives.
It is interesting how different browsers or operating systems can totally change how sites look and work (or not). What was the reason for the change? I don’t like the new arrangement and find it difficult to navigate now. One vote for ‘change it back’ if possible, but then I’m probably just an old fart that doesn’t adjust to change as easily as most.
Change it back is usually the vox populi on almost any topic. However, I’m curious about what you find difficult to navigate. Can you be specific, Chuck?
Home link was missing origianlly…looks like back now. I counldn’t find the line to TSL that used to be on the home page.
If you’re looking for the TSL archive page, it’s under the Shows item in the top menu. The link to the TSL LIVE page is nested as a submenu of that. Let me know if you have other questions.
Other side note is that I seem my picture sidweways in windows, but looks fine in Linux
I’m looking at you on a Windows PC and all is upright with the world.
Sideways in Windows/Brave here too. That’s really bizarre. Might be browser dependent, have you tried different browsers in Windows?
Saved it to my desktop and it’s still rotated. Maybe the orientation is stored in the EXIF data and whether it’s displayed rotated or not depends on whether that EXIF data is being used or not. Try removing the EXIF data and reuploading and see if that fixes it.
That’s it. Used Opanda to remove the EXIF metadata from the file and it now displays the right way up.
