I’m going to try very hard to post more than just all SpaceX all the time, but it’s very tempting at the moment.
While slo-mo can be overused and turned into just a cheap gimmick, here’s an example of why it’s so appealing in the first place–it allows you to catch details that would otherwise be completely lost in the speed of an event. The cloud formations from the exhaust, complete with apparent lightning down on the pad, are gorgeous.
What I find almost heady about this, though, is the thought that in another decade or so, this will be routine. Almost as ordinary as the thousands and thousands of airplanes that take off and safely land every single day.

Is there video of the center first stage landing on the barge? I still want to see that!
Alas for the feed loss–there is not. Just video of it after having landed: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6YyV-otP3pI
Yes. Yes!
I feel like I’m living in a sci-fi movie sometimes, which wasn’t the case even a year and a half ago.
Thank you, Lydia, that was awesome.
I promise not to post anything about SpaceX for at least a week (if they’ll let me).
Ha, yes–they do seem to be pulling out all the stops recently, what with the recent Dragon capsule test flight and ISS docking.
