Some lefty, bleeding hearts will call this news terrible, and barbaric, but this is actually a positive step for the country, that is, if it is reinstated across the nation in the states that have banned paddling. Corporal punishment is a deterrent and helps children learn boundaries, and arguably, it pretty much helped build this country, along with God’s Word being read in class, and prayer in schools. I, along with generations of Americans, were paddled in school and it helped mold us into productive members of society, and we can see the effect of removing corporal punishment today! Were there school shootings in America’s schools when kids were paddled? There is a direct correlation between the banning of corporal punishment in U.S. schools and school shootings, with the number of incidents rising year by year after the bans began.
