Somehow tree + earth equals life to these people but embryo + mom doesn’t. Square that circle. Both depend on something else for survival. Both are life whether they want to admit it or not. Their only outs are to say that plants, flowers and trees don’t represent life or insist that human life is worth less than a dandelion and therefore more expendable.

If we plant a seed in the Mother Earth that many of these abortion activists hold dear, that seed is germinated and starts to grow into a plant or tree. It will not survive on its own.
So, can any one of these abortion activists please explain to all of us again how a baby’s life doesn’t begin at conception? They base their argument on the fact that an embryo isn’t viable outside of a mother’s womb. Well, neither is a seedling removed from the soil. Yet that doesn’t stop them from recognizing the germinated seed as being alive.
If we took a rototiller to their sprouting garden, what would they scream?
“YOU’RE KILLING ALL OF MY PLANTS!!!”
If anything, an embryo is even more of a life than a plant or flower or tree by their own standard. An embryo grows and will eventually survive on its own. No plant or flower or tree will survive without attachment to Mother Earth.
In fact, neither a plant/flower/tree nor their seedlings can survive without attachment to Mother Earth. Therefore, a seedling MUST be life. It’s just an earlier form of a plant/flower/tree and always attached to Mother Earth.
Erego, if their claim is that a plant/flower/tree is life, then they must also recognize a seedling as life. And if a seedling is life, then so is an embryo which can’t survive without its mother. So life begins at conception.
Taking this a little further, all life depends on the planet for food and water, even the life many of these abortion activists expect to find on other planets be it even a single bacterium.
So asking the broader question, how can we deny that an embryo is life when all life depends on something else for survival?
