Not surprised here, given my wife nearly dying after one shot of the initial vaccine of Moderna. Two doctors say another will kill her. (Acute kidney failure. 3 weeks in hospital, 4 on dialysis. Off dialysis now, 60% kidney function. Not unique.)
I developed a blood clot in a kidney a couple or so months after I got my second shot. Never had one of those before and assumed it was just a kidney stone that would pass. I have a very high pain threshold and it still hurt like hell. I was prepared to endure the two or more weeks a kidney stone takes to pass and happily it only took 3 days for the clot to pass on it’s own but …
There’s no way I’m ever taking a COVID vaccination again. I don’t know if the clot was a coincidence or not. I don’t care. I’ve never had one before or since so that was unusual for me. I’m not going to risk it. I’m just fortunate that I didn’t end up in the hospital. I probably should have but I’m a stubborn prick.
Now every time I get a twinge in my lower back I think “Oh hell, I hope this isn’t another clot.”
Thanks, Moderna, Pfizer and all the rest. Now you’ve made an old man who never had COVID paranoid about backaches.

I had to get the two initial shots (Pfizer in my case) in order to keep my job. This was before the bad effects were well known. I had no side effects other than typical flu shot and mild lightheadedness. Won’t get any more since my job does care and I am sure I caught the mild version of Covid later. I’m also sure my wife caught the mild version too, about the same time.
And my last two kidney stones were too big to pass. About 10mm by 8mm by 6mm. (About 1/inch long by about 1/4 inch at smallest point) . Had a lithotrypsy. (busted apart by sound). The piece I saw looked like concrete.
Making you get the jab in order to keep your job is one of the most heinous acts perpetrated on the public. I’m sorry that happened to you. 😡
I’m so sorry that happened to you. From this point forward, any drug that is mRNA-based or identified for emergency use should make everyone run the opposite direction. I never took the jab as my years working in the medical device industry made my spidey-sense activate.
Here’s hoping, but I hate to say it, I’ve already noticed more folk wearing masks over here.
Same here. They’re starting to mandate masks in schools again over the most recent flus going around.
