1) What I learned from the Democrats during the Bill Clinton years was that morality doesn’t matter, and that the President’s sexual activities are completely irrelevant. Perhaps they need to be reminded of their mantra.
2) I’ve been surprised and highly amused when my liberal friends have talked glowingly about how happy they will be if/when Trump is impeached. But when I mention Mike Pence would become President, they get a look of shock and confusion. Noooo! Somehow if Trump is out, Hillary was supposed to be ordained into that position! Funny as hell.
3) Ditto the humor when I point out that impeachment alone doesn’t mean diddly. Clinton was impeached but didn’t step down (and some of the younger ones try to dispute that… apparently they didn’t know… insert sound of bubble bursting here). Trump could be impeached, shrug, walk away and continue on with his day. When they find out there’s more involved in removing him from office, it seems to ruin their day. Again, hilarious.
I am pretty sure that the hush money was done before Trump was president and crimes committed before being president are not impeachable offences. Crime done in office are impeachable. Please cite if I am wrong.
… and that is presuming it would even be a crime, which it really wouldn’t.

This video is another example of the impeachment bullshit. I have been following you guys for about 2 years now. You have discussed the impeachment bullshit numerous times. At no point do you ever say that it takes 2/3 of the Senate, 66 votes, to convict an impeached President and remove them from office. There is no way that the Democrats will ever get that.
And if, somehow they do manage to do so, they likely had enough Democrats voting twice to also have won the Presidency.
I think a lot of this is either wishful thinking and base distraction (we tried, we really tried, now send us more money) or is voter depression trying to sway the 2020 election away from that horrible, awful, no good Orange Man.
Gentlemen, I believe you’re overlooking the fact that a Senate conviction requires a 2/3 vote of members present and that’s not custom that Schumer can just change , it’s in the constitution .
Why not? He ignores the fact that he is merely a member of congress, only ONE branch of the US government, and not the dictator of all of America.
Schumer’s actual power as granted by the constitution extends only to his ONE vote. It does not include the power to summon all members of the Administrative branch, an EQUAL to the Legislative branch of the government. By requiring them to stand and deliver any and all information he deems necessary by his whim. He ignores the presumption of innocence and the necessity of providing actual probable cause. That he merely wants it is not sufficient. Yet, all his words and action indicates he believes that is all that is necessary.
