Hamody Jasim was a young Iraqi child (5 years old) when operation Desert Storm, “The 1st Gulf War” began in response to Iraq’s invasion of Kuwait. He grew up and survived, seeing and doing things in conditions that were beyond horrendous most Americans could not comprehend. He is another one of the people I think of when I hear Bill Whittle talk about an American just not born here. He was actually evacuated from Iraq in 2007 after being discovered by the bad guys to be an intelligence asset helping Americans sort out what was going on in Iraq as the turmoil began after the initial invasion in 2003. Hamody is now living in America and has a book out called “The Terrorist Whisperer: The Story of the Pro American“.
This is a very long podcast interview with Hamody (PG-13) that I found captivating that chronicled a lot of his experience. As with many of these long podcasts I just turn it on a listened while working on something else. In my opinion, Hamody deserves respect for his work for America.

That looks good, but I don’t have 4 hours right now.
I know, most of Mike Ritland’s podcasts are long but the guests he has are almost always captivating and great interviews (IMHO), which keeps me coming back since he started the podcast. I think of them like an audio book. Amazing honesty and frankness and some serious emotion in Mikes podcasts, language can get rough but if you can get past it the content is usually worth it if you are interested in the guest. Most of the time I listen an hour or until something requires my attention then pick it up again later or the next day. This one took 3 sessions. When I took on the last hour/hour 30m today I was anxious to come back to it. I hesitated posting it here because of the length but thought if it did not interest someone it is real easy just stop and move on. Hope you enjoy.
