The Afghan fight back begins

The world thinks the fall of Kabul means the Taliban has won but it may spell their end. The city was corrupt, the President was corrupt, the tribal leaders were corrupt. As a result Afghanistan was trapped in a stalemate with the Taliban insurgency.

Trumps people are known to have supported the intelligence officer turned Vice President, Amrullah Saleh. The deep state and Pakistan supported the President Ashraf Ghani but he has now fled. We know the ISI the Pakistani intelligence organization is riddled with pro Taliban islamists. The Prime Minister of Pakistan, Iran Khan is a sports hero. He has pushed borders open as others have tried to close them to refugees. He has little real power.  

Amrullah Saleh has declared himself President of Afghanistan. Saleh has moved to the northern alliance strong hold of the Panjshir Valley and is raising an army with Russian, Tajikistan, and Indian support. I also suspect that fake President Biden and his staff have no clue what’s happening and no command. General Miller may know what’s happening. If so he deserves an acting award.

It now looks like a large number of the afghan army did not bug out in panic or switch sides. A significant number went to the Panijhir valley with Saleh. Others appear to have gone to ground camouflaging them selves as Taliban. They have taken many unaccounted for weapons with them. These are mostly northern alliance born and bred. Many of then are not moslems let alone islamists.  

Why would they give up the capital? Because it ends the insurgency stalemate. The Taliban now has to fight a conventional war with weapons its unfamiliar with. It has to defend ground where the enemy built the defenses. And the tons of weapons the Taliban have captured may have been sabotaged. 
This was a tactic some said should have been done, or may have been done, in Iraq. Hand over weapons and vehicles to troops that you know will give them up when they run. The islamists use them but they have hidden ID friend or foe tracking beacons on them so you know where the islamists are at all time. It may have been done. 

What we are seeing with Saleh going north and raising an instant army tells me that this has been planned for months well before the election of Biden. There was a rumor that Trump’s may 2021 pull out plan was part of a trap. I was skeptical but now it makes sense. The apparent reluctance of the US military to go into Kabul may be because this was planned well before the Taliban walked in. There is no point doing rescues if the people your looking for are training in the Panijhir valley.   

If you know the history of Afghanistan you know that the Northern alliance under Ahmad Shah Massoud defeated the Russians but to supply them America had to go though Pakistan and the Taliban. The northern alliance is multi-racial and multi-religious faction. 
They also wanted to kill the Taliban when they, with American help, took the country from the Taliban in the 2001. The US military stopped them. Ahmad Shah Massoud should have been the resulting president but was assassinated that year. Amrullah Saleh was at that time one of Massoud’s leading aids.

Islamists are very good at insurgency but very bad an conventional warfare. You always have to trick them into forming a front line, ideally on terrain of your choice, to defeat them. That’s what we did with Saddam Hussein’s army. That’s what we did with ISIS/ ISIL. Now we know where that will be. North of Kabul either side of Bagram airfield. The tunnel passes though the mountains to the north are controlled by Saleh’s forces. 

I believe the bulk of the Taliban forces that took and then handed back the Bagram air base were not real Taliban. It was a ruse. Its still in NATO control. 
It still means Biden and his people stuffed up but that people had expected and planned for it.

 I may be wrong. Yes you can call this a huge crazy conspiracy theory. If I an right we will see the Taliban fight and fall. We will also see no mercy from the northern alliance. That lessen has been learned. We allowed the Taliban leaders to live in 2001 and they returned. We may see Russia and the US fighting on the same side. Remember Putin is an autocrat but not a communist.
