Anyone with White Rage because of this humiliating LOSS??  Can we thank President Biden for this Biden Effect?  Is our military this compromised now?

The article below has an assessment.

Military Strength Survey: Navy Approaching “Weak” Strength Rating, Air Force Already There (trendingpolitics.com)

In the report, only the Marines and the US nuclear force received a “strong” rating, the highest rating. The Army received a “marginal” score. The Air Force and Space Force both received “weak” ratings. The Navy did poorly too, its current score is “moderate trending toward weak rating.” Its current score, “marginal,” is a result of it being too small and its equipment being too old.

First of all, the Royal Marines are no slouches and “losing” a war game to them is no dishonor thereby.

The United States Marine Corps didn’t just spring up out of the suds in a mug of ale at Tun Tavern. Our Marine Corps was modelled after the Royal Marines. We’re cousins. We actually think highly of and respect each other. As a rule.

If the Royal Marines were able to pull this off with a “new battle structure” then the purpose of wargaming is well served and lessons will be learned from that. No one was “humiliated” here.

Despite the name “war game” it’s not a sporting event and it’s not a competition like a sporting match would be. It’s a training and learning exercise and its point is to train and learn. It sounds to me like the Royal Marines taught our Marines, of which I am one, a very good lesson.

It will be interesting to see if the British press crows as loudly when these lessons have been absorbed and applied next time by our own Marines.

Wanna bet you don’t hear a peep out of them?

Don’t forget too, much of the civilian press does treat this kind of thing as something resembling an intramural high school sports event. It’s not that at all. We often let the other side win because if we kicked their asses out their necks every time we got together then THEY wouldn’t be learning anything either. Allies who never learn how to fight are not very good or useful in a real war.

None of which prevents nincompoops and dullards in the foreign press from crowing about a “win” during war gaming. I’ve seen this before many times. It’s actually kind of funny too.

I distinctly remember a Naval exercise where the French “killed” two of our aircraft carriers with one of their submarines. The French press went wild with joy and jubilation. When we explained to the Frogs that we let them do that, how we let them do that and why plus what we would have really done in a real war they suddenly grew an amazing interest in talking about anything except their magnificent Frog Navy.

Because it’s very likely that the US Marines were intrigued by or wanted to see the effectiveness of this “new battle structure” the Brits came up with and just let them have at it to see where it would go.

War gaming is not war, it’s an exercise and it has to be viewed as such. Sometimes it’s a competition, sometimes it’s not. You can’t see if a new “battle structure” is going to work in application if you don’t let it play out. I’m not overly worried about this kind of silly crap coming from the British press. I know the base at “29 Stumps” pretty well and have experience in and with the Marines there in the past. I really doubt that there was any “domination” going on by either side.

I promise you most sincerely that the United States Marine Corps is not composed of Soy Boys. This article is baloney and I have stated the reasons why in my post above.

Foreign Press does this a lot. The Telegraph is not a particularly reliable source either. This is the same kind of thing that when I would play a board game with my kids, on the very rare occasions I’d let them win so that they wouldn’t be discouraged and give up, so that they would play those games with me again. When I did that they would jump around all excited pointing at me and saying “Ha Ha Dad! We beat you!” and ignore the fact that for every game I let them win I whipped their little butts (figuratively of course) twenty or so times before.

This stupidity from the Telegraph means nothing.

I served in the Marines, I know people right now on active duty in the Marines and Navy, my son is a high ranking Naval officer, my best friend is a retired Marine Lt. Colonel. Where I live I’m surrounded by active duty and retired Marines and Navy people. The Marines did not suddenly wilt just because Joe Biden is in office for a few years. There are problems in the very highest ranks but those problem people are not the people I know nor the ones in this article. I know the Marines both past and present as only someone with close ties can ….

Friday night this week there will be at least a couple dozen Marine Noncoms and Officers and their families here for an annual party I throw. All of them have either been in combat or in a combat zone, some of them like me have seen multiple actions in combat deployments all over the world, known to the public and not.

Not everything serves a political narrative any more than an outbreak of thunderstorms or blizzards proves climate change will kill us all in a few years.

Please do not dishonor those amazing heros by calling them Soy Boys. It’s neither accurate nor your place to do so.

Thank you for your consideration and respect.

My apologies for the broad sweeping statement. It was not meant to infer that all in the military are soy boys. However, one cannot disagree with the fact that the current powers-that-be have cow-towed to the CRT narrative. It has indeed infiltrated our military and sources outside of the Telegraph have confirmed this.
