The Equation That Explains Evil

A brilliant piece by the great Dennis Prager. Read it HERE

“…Our age loves scientific equations. Here’s one you weren’t taught at college but which affects you as much as the law of gravity:
GI – W = E
Good Intentions (GI) minus Wisdom (W) leads to Evil (E)…”

One reply on “The Equation That Explains Evil”

So called “good intentions” aren’t worth a damn if not supported by rational thinking connected to reality. Your actions will be disconnected from the real world and their consequences will be random according to whatever reality is.

Since there are far more ways to be wrong than right, the result will be that the consequences will most often not match your intentions. Either that or you really intended the consequences you caused. Either way, the net result is unremitting evil! The wisdom part is irrelevant if there is not the cause of wisdom: wide experience considered by rational thinking in context of reality.
