The Necessary Horror of Political Wildfire: Looking to Restoration of Burned-Out Regions

A wildfire has ripped through American institutions, but the cinders will become a garden again.

When wildfire tears through forests and neighborhoods it evokes horror, but in the not-too-distant future lies green and growing restoration of the burned-out regions. Bill Whittle and Alfonzo Rachel explore this metaphor for the scorching of our values, principles and Constitutional governance by the Progressive Left.

I think POTUS Trump and the communist takeover of the Republic *had* to happen so that we would see the utter destruction of every institution we trusted. Without this “fiery furnace” we would still be meandering along trusting the Bush traitors, believing the medical tyrants and liars, and assuming kids in grade school were free from indoctrination.
Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego had to live through the fiery furnace so they could emerge smoke free and unscathed.
It’s hard as hell to have everything you loved destroyed. That’s where patriots pray for each other, lift each other up, and be brave in our own lives so we are beacons of light for others to follow.
We’re called here for a reason. And that reason is to endure, to thrive, and to restore the Republic.
“Be strong, and of good courage” God told Joshua. I think that’s for us, too.

I remember when it happened, and was going to mention it also.
My Dad was a mountaineer who climbed Saint Helens when it was a beautiful snow cone mountain. He flew me over it 6 months later, beautiful in its devastation, but gone. Just gone. Spirit Lake, Harry Truman, all gone.
Now? So beautiful it’s breathtaking, and that volcano had to erupt in order for the beauty to happen.

Well, I have been avoiding listening to any videos due to my feelings of despair and anger and LOSS, of so much that was wonderful about our country and in my native state of California. I grew up in a fantastic state where the weather was almost perfect and the surf was up. Now, not so much. I grew up with the Cuban missile crisis, hiding under desks in grade school whenever the sirens went off, and yet, we did not despair because we had faith that we would ultimately win. Now it seems the whole country has gone bananas with every institution that I held in high esteem completely covered with fruit flies. So thank you very much Bill and Zo, because this video (and the Second Fleet video) gave me a needed longer range perspective – that all is not lost, although it all may ultimately burn down in one way or another, and that what finally grows from the ashes of these once US of A, in however many years from now, just could possibly be worth losing what we have now. I do now have some glimmer of Hope that my Faith and Love will be/is (going to be) restored. Yes and Amen!

Hold my hand, Patriot, and we’ll walk through the fire together.
I grew up in a similar age, and I was born in San Mateo.
Grew in in WA State, where I am now, and it’s full communist.
COVID slaves wear their muzzles everywhere, and do whatever they’re told to do.
Hang on.

Wildfire clearing out old, dead growth. We certainly have enough of that in our current political system. We have strayed far from the intentions and wisdom of our Founders.

Many of us have said “Let ’em have what they think they want, good and hard until it really hurts”. Wildfire is as good a way as any to depict that idea.

So this is a very good analogy served up to a very good purpose.

The Apostle Paul points out in 1 Corinthians 13:13 that faith, hope and charity (meaning love, not financial aid) are universal constants, imperishable and immortal. They are an aspect and facet of reality.

As aspects of reality these things are available to every human being. You possess them by natural fact, not by state of mind or condition of circumstances. They are yours to claim, keep and use. No one can take them from you except as you yourself allow them to.

You allow them to steal these things from you if you fail to see their guile and succumb to their lies. Many people have done this because the enemy is so crafty that they are not even aware this has happened to them.

While love is the greatest, hope and faith are no beggars either. If someone can steal your hope they can wound your faith and pollute your love.

This is so. It works in any combination of any of the three constants. If they can kill your love they can nullify your faith and destroy your hope. If they can negate your faith they can anesthetize your love and crush your hope. Etc. It is a trinity established by The Trinity and each works together to make the whole.

These things can only be taken from you if you allow them to be stolen. That sounds easy enough but it’s not so simple. These thieves are not going to come up to you, stick a gun in your face and say “Gimme your hope or I’ll blow your head off.” They have to use deceit in its many forms and it is up to you to recognize that a deception is being used against you.

You must guard your own treasures.

Hence “Gentle as doves but wise as serpents” is a real defense, not just a cool saying from an old text.

Hope is always important. Hope never dies. Hope is constantly available. Hope is solidly real.

Hope abides in light. If you’re in darkness you’re under attack and you need to recognize that fact and take action. Your hope is in jeopardy, defend it. It is yours to defend.

That seems to me to be the message of this Virtue Signal video for today.

Well said.
“Above all things, guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of Life.”
Love conquers all.

Bill, You rock! …. as the saying goes. This is a great message at a great time and I appreciate deeply Zoe’s perspective! The Virtue Signal is a real winner in my book!

Collective insanity. Mass hysteria. Mass formation. This kind of stuff has happened before. I watched this interview this morning, and it’s well worth it for all you out there to watch, also.

I like (and hope it’s true!) that humanity divides, percentage wise, into 30/40/30; 30% on either side with 40% in the middle that go with the flow, can be manipulated, or can be persuaded. The only way that today’s ascendant, tyrannically minded, 30% can take over completely, is if the 30% resistance cowers, shuts up, and goes into hiding.

Never give up, and keep talking. And for you Christians out there, remember that ultimately the battle is the Lord’s!

There have been 5 major global extinction events in the history of our planet. 260 million years ago 96% of life on earth was extinguished. The life that exists today evolved from the 4% that survived. When the meteor hit the Yucatan Peninsula, 65 million years ago, this led to the destruction of the dinosaurs that were gobbling up the little furry critters, mammals. Mammals then thrived, became tree shrews, which became primates, which became humans. Climate change led to destruction, which led to us. We have no idea what future extinctions will be or what they will lead to. It’s all part of the big glorious plan which requires climate change.

Lol, three demerit points for irreverent humor. You’re on thin ice Bob, you’re going to get the grunchies ticked off at you.
