As to the last segment I disagree with Bill. Normally he’d be correct but I think that he overlooks one thing. Our present day nonsense is not being run and organized by “progressives”. It is the product of THUGS; the progressives are merely the useful idiots of the thugs.
Progressives generally work for a better society; thugs lust for power.
Two entirely different things.
It may be hard to do but if you take the helmets off hang them on your belts or stick then in a bag of holding. Don’t throw them away. It sends the wrong message to discard a defense and those things are expensive. This way you are saying Fauchus is wrong, we need to be able to see in the dungeons, but you’re not being stupid, we may need them later. A bag of holding should not be hard to do in Unreal. We need to see it for only a second or two.

Yes A few YouTubers did analysis of torches. If you wave them about they go out. They are also way harder to make than in any of the movies.
